Question:	Will this fit the 3420t
Answer:	I have the 34018. It does not let me slide the tool rest across the seam where the lathe and extension meet. The alignment seems correct, but I have to unscrew the bolt that holds the tool rest in place in order to slide it across the seam. I contacted the manufacturer and they said to either return it or try to machine it. I haven't done either right now.

Answer:	It's not a dial, it's a lever that can change the speed as you're turning. Probably may have just 10 stops, but that's sufficient for me.

Answer:	Depends on the size and thread count of the headstock. My lathe was 1inch and 12 tpi. I bought adapters but none worked because the threads didn’t start immediately. Ultimately, I mounted the 4 jaw chuck into one of the circular face plates.
