Answer:	The tank, and the basket seem to do well in the dishwasher. I have not placed the lid in the dishwasher because it seems to do well with just wiping with warm soapy water. DO not use the lid during cooking! This is a deep fryer and any use of a lid may introduce water from steam to the oil causing a boil over of oil.

Answer:	5000 watts = 41.6 amps. Since there are two separate heating elements, that would be 20.8 amps per side. Most home outlets are rated at 15 amps and a dedicated microwave outlet is 20 amps. Something has to give here. If you plugged it in to an ordinary outlet, it should trip the breaker every time. That is unless this unit is not really 5000 watts. Simple mathematics.

Question:	where to get extra oil filters for Secura 4.2L/17 cup
Answer:	The fryer does not come with any oil filters. I comes with one set of installed carbon filters and also one extra set so that when you have the lid on, all vapors pass through the carbon and really helps with any smell in the kitchen. I purchased the oil filter that Amazon usually shows that would be a good accessory for the fryer. It does let small particles pass through but so far they have not affected anything. The next time I see a restaurant supply store I think I will check out their filters. The one that Amazon recommends is certainly better than nothing and only costs around $10.

Answer:	Not that I remember. I have used a fryer before, so I would likely have tossed it if it did. Pretty simple operation. Fill with oil to max fill line, plug it in, turn heat to highest setting, turn timer on, allow to heat up, lower food into oil and put the lid on. Check food every few minutes to see if done.

Answer:	Using a candy thermometer, mine goes beyond 400 degrees Fahrenheit and when I cook with it, it cooks the outside just fine but the inside stays raw. I was also using breaded chicken that had sat out to room temperature.

Question:	How long have you had this air fryer and does the non-stick coating flake off after time
Answer:	I have only used it a few times. The basket tray doesn't have a coating on it. I spray it with cooking spray to keep things from sticking. The sides and drip area may be coated with a non-stick coating. They clean up easily. I wouldn't recommend using metal on them.
Question:	So, getting basket and oil grill out, not easy...Still haven't figured it out. What am I doing wrong
Answer:	If it is hard to separate the basket from the Air Fryer, you may have hold the handle with 4 fingers and pull the basket while pushing the fryer main body with your thumb. It can be separated with one hand. The bottom mesh of the basket can be removed by pushing it up. Hope this helps.

Answer:	yes you can bake but you need to purchase the accessories on line. Since the unit is square instead of round I would recommend finding accessories that will fit into a square unit. but you can measure the inside and some of the round pans will still fit into the square unit. My unit is approx. 8 1/4 x 7 1/2 inches at the bottom of the basket and 9x9 inches at the top of the basket. so look for accessories that will fit those measurements

Except that I'm particularly worried about fat (My father is suffering from hypercholesterolemia)— I also hate the idea of using a vat of fat and then disposing it. Yes, you can use it a few times before you get rid of it, but still, it seems like a bit of a waste. The KOIOS 39006 Air Fryer has a basket that food goes into, like a deep fryer, but that's where the similarities end. Rather than dunking the food into hot fat, you coat it with a little bit of oil (or not, depending on what you're cooking) and let the Air Fryer blow hot air over it. Answer:	It is magnetic but it comes out very easily. For this and other reasons, buy something else!
Question:	How do you remove the oil for cleaning? Is there a removable container that holds the oil
Answer:	I wait until unit is cool about 2 hours ,remove the lid which slides right off,and pour into a small coffee can using a strainer until filled. Or I use a small, ceramic cheese container {about 18 ozs.} and leave on my counter. I found the decorative container at a flea market for 50 cents and it works great! Typically, I use my deep fryer about once a week and it is very easy to clean.
Question:	how is the clean up. can u take the container that hold the oit out to strain and store left over oit
Answer:	Personally, I don't understand all the complaints about cleaning this unit. I have a sensitive nose when it comes to rancid oil so I like to refrigerate my oil in between uses and I find this fryer very easy to empty and clean. The top comes off easily up to the halfway open position. The carbon filter cover comes right off the lid and the carbon filter just lifts out. I rinse those top three pieces in hot water and then soak them in hot soapy water for about 10 minutes while the bottom part of the unit is cooling. I wait until the appliance itself is no longer hot to the touch and then pour the oil into an oil keeper with a filter screen (Aulett Home B077D7RDJV) so the oil stays clean. The oil stays in the pour groove on the corner of the deep fryer while pouring into my oil keeper; I have had no problems with drips whatsoever. I then wash my oil keeper screen and store it separately from the oil keeper. If I don't think I'll be using the oil again soon I may then empty the completely cooled oil from the oil keeper into a sealable container like Tupperware or Lock-n-Lock just to make sure I have no spills in the fridge. But the unit is so easy to clean since it is non-stick. I put a little detergent inside the cooker with some hot water and wipe the inside with my soapy dishcloth and then rinse the unit out being careful not to get water on the plug or dial. The unit isn't immersible but, honestly, I'm not so uncoordinated that I can't rinse it without getting the entire outside of the unit wet. (The unit is so small and lightweight so it is easy to handle.) I then wipe the outside with my soapy cloth if any oil has dripped but, like I said, I haven't found drips to be a problem. Then I dry the whole thing to keep it looking new. The entire process takes less than 5 to 10 minutes and is no harder to clean then if I was using a frying pan or dutch oven on the stovetop. To me it is worth it to have deep fried food. I am a scaredy cat when it comes to frying on the stove. This unit takes the fear out of frying for me. And let's face it, there is nothing like french fries fried in a deep fat fryer. I'm looking forward to frying breaded tilapia for fish tacos and tempura sweet potatoes. I'll write a full review after I have fried more than just french fries.

Answer:	I fit a whole 6lb chicken in with no problem, sort of diagonal, breast side down for 1hr @350, then turned over for 15min. The wings only stuck up a little, & they were no problem to push down as I closed the basket. When done, the shrinkage took care of that issue when opening. Best chicken I ever ate. Much better than oven roasted. Crispy skin on the outside, & tender & juicy on the inside with no dried out sections or blood near the bone.
