Question:	What width of boards will fit in this jig, and what is the max thickness of boards that can fit in it? Will it handle 4/4 stock
Answer:	Hi Derek, I have not seen a way to bevel the cut to match the door bevel. The jig mounts square to the door. I have had the same question myself early on. It seems to be ok though, because the lockset hardware doesn't bevel either, the plunger plates are square to the door and do not follow the door bevel. We have not had an issue with the 5 degree or so bevel on the door looking bad or functioning badly. Hope this helps.
Question:	Does it contain the essential guide rings
Answer:	There is a mortise template for a 5/8" x 4-1/4" lockset included. The faceplate templates are for 7/8" or 1" wide faceplates. There is no template for 11/16" faceplate included with the kit. The Trend Lock website (www.trenddirectuk.com) lists other available templates.
Question:	Can you use it with the Bosch router or do you need special accessories
Answer:	Yes the template pivots to match the bevel Not real familiar with Baldwin products as I own a commercial door company and I have never seen a beveled faceplate it is the door that is beveled in my experience

Answer:	I don’t see that size listed. The closest to that size is 22.5mm x 152.5mm. Not sure if you are referring to the faceplate size or the actual lock body. This jig has the capability to be used with a deep plunging router to mill out lock-sets that fit deep into the door. There are templates that are used to deep cut for the lock body and other templates that are used to mortise out the face plate for such a lock set

Question:	How hard is it to level the jig when adjusting the side support
Answer:	The bit is capable of being set to the depth of 1/4. I have never personally made a dovetail this small though because I used the jig only a few times and I only worked with soft woods. I believe if hardwoods were being used 1/4 would be adequate depth.
Question:	I looked at the videos. Am I correct in assuming that you have to remove the blade guard in order to use this
Answer:	I believe the bit is a 3/8 dovetail bit. I bought mine when I bought the jig. I would look up the jig on amazon and go to the "people who bought this item often buy..." I think that's how I got mine. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes, you can make box joints with the 4210.
Question:	What is the difference between the gr 100 and the gr 200by model and is it worth the price difference
Answer:	I believe it's a 1/2" shank but I'm not absolutely sure. It's in my shop up in CT and I'm in NYC at the moment, so I can't check it. I'll check this weekend and send confirmation. But your router should be able to handle 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" shanks with different collets.

Answer:	Most people do not use a blade guard, so this would take the place of the blade guard. It is also used when a blade guard would interfere with the cut.

Answer:	One of the two legs of the GRR-RIPPER is just under 1/4” so out of the box it is fully capable of cutting 1/4” thick strips. We also sell an accessory 1/8” leg that allows for cutting strips down to 1/8” thick. Just remember that in either case, when cutting thin strips you want to use a Zero Clearance Insert to insure that your thin strip will not fall into the opening for the blade or the riving knife opening.
Question:	Can you cut full dovetail
Answer:	It really depends on what you will use it for. I bought the 100 and it worked fine. I then started to do some thin ripping and purchased the 1/8" leg. That's been helpful although I did cut into part of the leg. It was my fault for not keeping adequate pressure on the gripper against the fence. I then bought the piece that turned the 100 into the 200. All in all I paid too much because I was trying to save a couple of bucks. I did notice today that Amazon has the 200 with the 1/8" leg on Prime for $79. If i had to do it again, I'd go with that. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It is EXACTLY the same as harbor freight. I know because i have one. I'm going to return it. It's doable , but it's cheap. I usually have no problem with cheap tools from harbor freight, but this design is just too sloppy.

Answer:	These templates can be used with both a hand-held router, or, turned upside-down, run on the router table. That setup is particularly helpful for dovetailing smaller boxes and drawers. It can also be used when cutting longer runs of drawers or boxes, as material can be ganged and cut quickly on the router table.
Question:	Regarding use of this mini jig: do you use the same bushing for both the pins/tails cuts, or different bushings
Answer:	Registering the two halves of the joint is very simple: cut the dovetail sockets first with the dovetail bit and Dovetail Template, then use that 1st board as your layout pattern. With your knife point, scribe one of the sockets into the end grain of the second board, with the edges of the two boards aligned. That pair of scribe marks is then exactly the size and location for the resulting pins (much as would be done when cutting dovetails by hand.) The profile of the wedge-shaped Pin Template will match the size of the pair of scribed marks exactly. Clamp the Pin Template in place, change the bit to the straight pattern bit, and proceed to cut the pins. Everything will match perfectly.

Answer:	I'm Temptied to say No. Rockler jigs and devices work best with who ever makes their kits. Porter-Cable jigs are made with those critical dimensions and jigs are based on that device.

Answer:	Your question wasn't complete. "Pulling out of" what? If it is the router make sure the shanks are clean, smooth and firmly attached. Many newer routers have kind of a double lock mechanism. Question:	Is it possible to use this kit with material thicker than 1-1/2 inches? I ask because the site offers spacer blocks for user with "thicker" material. It would be nice to use the kit on 2x4s for example
Answer:	The "deflector plate" is actually a gravity operated "heel" that simply drops down and hooks on the material you are pushing. There's considerable grip in the rubber pad portion of the push block, but when you reach the end of a board or similar, the heel drops down and catches on the edge of wood, permitting easy/secure push through of the wood.

Answer:	I don't have the Bench Dogs push pad but I do own 2 of these Gripper pads as well as several "plain" push pads. In my experience, the GRR-Rip Block is different in 2 ways. The Gripper has 4 "heel hooks" that hang over the edge of your work piece to get a better push on the end stock. And it can also be used on its edge (it have been formed with a 90 degree angle) so you can push stock on a router table or to stabilize wood while re-sawing on a band saw (and this is where those hooks really help). But the price of the Gripper is 2-1/2 times the Bench Dog, so the question would be: is the GRR-Rip Blockr twice as good as the Bench Dog. And I would probably say no to that. But the ultimate decision is of course yours. Hope this helped.
