I have to go outside with bug spray at noon to keep the mosquitoes off -_-

They are located on opposing corners of the house, where they are away from the decks, sidewalks, etc. They work the same way, but are industrial use... light attracts the insects, they get sucked-in, and can't escape... eventually dying of dehydration. I've caught everything from mosquitoes, moths, biting flies, etc. Bees are not attracted to it, normally, but I have captured a carpenter bee, once. These small units are okay for indoor use, or for screened porches.

Since I live in a rural horse & cow neighborhood, it just blends in with all the other animal smells. The other problem is, they attract flys. Flys from all over will smell them and come to them. That works for me because the bags are hung out by the manure dumpster and they are killing flys coming from all my neighbor's houses too. If you are in a normal city neighborhood, it will probably be too stinky and gross.

I did not and had to disinfect my garbage can to eliminate the smell. The big box store item is better - for pennies more uou get a locking top and hanger.

Answer:	I think you are saying a mouse "ate" through the cable? My cat ate through mine - the company replied to my comment saying to get a 5mm cable - however the cable we got apparently isn't enough wattage and basically killed the two seperate functions. Question:	will this kill adult bumble bees or large miner bees? are the holes large enough? can they be enlarged? is there a better product
Answer:	I would say it will kill "any" insect that gets thru the grid. I'm sure some adult bumble bees can get thru the grid. I really don't know what a miner bee is. Can the hole be enlarged - I would say yes, but for safeties sake I wouldn't enlarge the holes.
Question:	The holes in the outer casing looks small will a good size fly be able to fly inside and be zapped
Answer:	Yes, it also will kill moths, lizards and tree frogs. I try to keep it away from where the tree frogs come out.

Answer:	I do not know if there are any age requirements but I cannot recommend these as living up to the hype. I wore one to a bonfire on Saturday night and, unfortunately, I have been up for the last four nights with terrible itching from the worst case of mosquito bites I’ve ever had!
