Take the hose and cut to the right length.

2. Remove the pin.

Remove pin and loosen the handle till you can "Open" top yoke

3. Slect correct dies.

Select the correct die set for the AC hose.(refer to back page for description)

4. Insert dies.

Insert the dies into a joke tightly.

5. Turn body clockwise.

Turn Body of tool clockwise until dies are snug against hose fitting

6. Crimping the hose.

Pump handle to crimp fitting onto hose .continue pumping until handle comes to a stop.

7. Release the handle.

Turn the hydraulic valve to the OPEN position

8. After Crimping.

6 segmented crimp, and produces a factory quality crimp.

Answer:	I was having the same problem until I figured it out. When pulling it out, listen to the clicking, as soon as you first start hearing the clicking, STOP pulling and it stay in place. I also have an air hose from Northern Tool with a small compressor, it works the same way. This should be in the instructions in large print, unfortunately I didn’t see it printed anywhere. I would be curious if it works for you.

Polyurethane Recoil Air Hose

This Hromee polyurethane recoil hose is constructed of polyurethane, exhibits extreme, all-weather flexibility and outperforms nylon hose, giving you the strength and flexibility of. Bend resistors prevent wear and tear at the joints, a kink resistant design prolongs the using life of the hose. It features swivel fittings to reduce twist. The Coupler and plug kit offers the basic need of connection.

Note: You had better tighten the coupler and plug before using.

COUPLER&PLUG KIT

This hose is equipped with one 1/4'' NPT universal coupler which fits Industrial (I/M), ARO (A) and Automotive (T) and two pieces I/M type plugs.
