Answer:	Mine got some salt stains on the palms after using them for a few weeks. I just used mild soap diluted in water, rinsed then hung to dry. Good as new.

Answer:	I would say they're decently padded. This is my first pair of workout gloves, but I've enjoyed them so far. I mainly only use them for barbell work and doing muscle ups. They're padded enough to protect my hands, but not too much that I can't get a good grip.
