Answer:	I live in Florida, and store my bars in a garage tool box. After a year in this hot and humid environment, there is no rust. I would say that with reasonably decent care, they aren't likely to rust. Naturally, as with most metals of this type, abusive treatment will produce rust!

Answer:	Yes. I haven’t weighed it but it’s a bit heavier than my Olympic bar. I don’t remember but I thought they said it was 55#. It’s hefty and works well.

Answer:	Good question. The short answer is, I don’t know. I can tell you it’s made out of steel and designed to accommodate 2” Olympic style weights. It weighs 53 lbs and can take a load of over 800lbs. I’ve done power lifting myself so I can tell you this product has the space needed to add heavy weight. I don’t know if this helps but here are it’s dimensions:58" x 24.5" x 6".

Answer:	I don’t have the standard steel 45’s but I do have the Rogue 55 and 45 bumper plates of which I can get 2 55 and 1 45 with room for a clip. So if I had to guess you could probably get 4 steel 45’s on each side with a clip.

Answer:	I have the rogue HG 2.0 bumpers and this trap bar in black. Absolutely no problem with the bumpers sliding onto the bar. You might consider adding the rogue wedge if you use multiple bumpers when performing deadlifts, this raises the 1st bumper off the floor when adding additional weight.

Answer:	Five on each end, plus the collar lock. Five x 45 lbs is 225, each end. The bar is 50 lbs. so, it holds 450 pounds worth of 45 lb plates, plus the bar makes 500 lbs. you can't shrug that much, so you'll be fine.

Answer:	Absolutely, I am 5'9". 185lbs, I loaded the bar up (just before typing this) and took the largest, quickest strides I could. The bar did not hinder me in any way, it would be perfect for farmer's walks.

Answer:	I just received mine and weighed it on a balance scale. (It is a very accurate scale that has been calibrated and tested.) It is exactly 51 pounds. There might be some minor variations in each particular unit, but for the purposes of workout tracking I think it is safe to record this as 50 pounds to keep the math easier. You know, us weight lifters struggle with complicated formulas and whatnot. Nobody wants to "carry the one" every time you load the bar.But when you are out with friends and discussing PRs, you might want to remember to include the extra pound.
