Answer:	YMMV but I just use regular straws and I put them in w the flatware in the dishwasher. the soapy water slides down into and through the straws and cleans them just fine. You can try this for yourself, won't cost you anything. I steal my straws where ever I can, lol, by the handfuls.

Answer:	I purchased this transducer but found out it is not the correct unit for the 3-D sonar feature. Strongly suggest you contact Raymarine customer service to see which unit is appropriate for your needs.

Answer:	Call ray marine and ask. I tried to replace my old t30 with this unit and found out that I would need a special cable and a $600 interface box. I end up with a $189 eBay special that worked with my transducer. Ray marine said my old unit was a direct replacement for the t30. When I called a second time they told me about the cable and interface box. Their support sucks.

Answer:	Wouldn’t be my first choice. I would favor a wrench of the proper size to ensure the bolt head wouldn’t slip. If not much torque is needed it may work. If you really want something adjustable then I’d suggest a small pipe wrench.

Answer:	This is a great tool but, I have not tried it on teflon insulated wire. My guess would be yes.

Answer:	It is a preset. So if you are putting in a bunch of the same thing (like plug ins, light switches, a specific end piece, etc) then it makes quick work of measuring out the length you need to strip off.

Answer:	They are warrantied out of Pomona California. They make a lot of hand and air tools as well and I believe you will be happy with them ! The dies on the various sizes are precision and sharp & retract smooth! I had a pair similar to these that came from radio shack in the late 60's and they are similar but much smoother and don't snag the wire.
