Answer:	Hi! While I can say for sure that this cable fits the Otter Box cases, I'm not really confident that it will fit the Fre Lifeproof case. Since you said you can only use Apple products, I did a side-by-side comparison of the original Apple cable that came with my iPhone 6s & this cable. There was a definite visible size difference. The Anker Cable housing around the lighting charger (the part that plugs into your phone) was slightly wider than the Apple cable's housing. Plus after looking at various pics of the Fre Lifeproof case online, the cover over the charging port seems to be a little wider than the original Apple cable; so I don't think this cable will fit. I hope this helps you.

Answer:	Wow, so many clueless reviews. Heat shrink can and does contain heat activated adhesive sealant. It does not affect the connection at all, only seals to prevent water intrusion on marine applications such as wiring a bilge pump. I do not know if these have it but you will see a small amount ooze out if it does.

Answer:	Hair dryer, heat gun, lighter, mini torch all work.

Answer:	Wire size and material determine maximum current and loss due to heat (ignore above comment). Insulation determines maximum voltage. 120 volts is American household voltage. These are designed for marine and automotive applications which are typically 12 volts, sometimes 24 volts, and rarely 48 volts or other voltage. I would verify with manufacturer what the maximum voltage the insulation can take is. I repeat, these are not designed for household use, and I have never heard of those voltages in a marine or automotive application.
Question:	What crimp tool is needed to crimp these
Answer:	Make sure to use a crimped for coated connectors. If you puncture the coating they will no longer be waterproof. If that doesn't matter the regular butt connectors are way cheaper. Use these for wet applications and marine for sure.

Answer:	Absolutely. I used it (with another coax cable) to move both my cable and modem across the room. I lost no quality.
Question:	Will this work for weather pack connectors
Answer:	I would think not. Most outdoor connectors that I've seen have a rubber sheath over them to protect against the weather. I would look for one specifically made for outdoor use (or find some kind of protector you can cover the connection with I guess.)
Question:	is it good for heat shrink connector
Answer:	Do you mean "RG-6"? RG-6 is a type of coaxial cable. Another widely used coaxial cable is the lower-grade RG-59. Both RG-6 and RG-59 are used for antenna leads, for cable TV, and in some cases for broadband Internet. Both use "F Connectors" on each end. The "extension adaptor" shown on this page will join two F connectors, so it can be used to join two RG-6 cables.
