Answer:	I'm not sure if this will help you or not. We use this on our Timberline stove. It flattened out after a few days. Of course, it is tightly latched. I don't think this would flatten out without the door being latched. Hope that makes sense. 😏

It's amazing because it's porous thus increasing surface area for beneficial bacteria plus being light weight which seriously helps your stand and back lol. They are provide good aeration minimizing pockets of gasses or anerobic conditions. However I do not know if this brand has any sprays or coatings to their rocks. Sometimes they will be fumigated. As long as they are natural it's a good choice for aquariums and plants

Answer:	Same here. The stones or glass rocks are just decorative. The glass sparkles when the fire is lit and is a colorful cover when it is off. For example if you chose red glass it would look a bit like embers when the fire is on.

Answer:	Mine have turned dark where yellow flame touches them but there's quite a bit of light color left - it seems to make them look more natural with some scorch marks. If you have a lot of flame then they'll probably get darker.

a) Can NOT turn on fireplace? Check your pilot fire and thermopile first.

All models are NOT power supply. They do NOT output voltage or current to gas valve. They only process the millivolt voltage generating from thermopile if the pilot fire is on.

Therefore, you can NOT turn on the fireplace fire / gas if the pilot fire is OFF or the thermopile is out of operation (no millivolt voltage generated when heated). This is a safety protection from gas leakage. Please check before return.

Shut off the pilot fire, gas supply, wall switch, and any power if your house is unattended for long time.

b) Do they fit my fireplace? How to tell?

To find a remote control that is compatible with your gas fireplace, the first thing you'll need to find is what type of gas valve your fireplace uses. This information can be found most easily in your fireplace installation & operation manual, the relevant information is usually located under the "Wiring Diagram". If you don't have your fireplace owner's manual, you can also find the model # on the rating plate located somewhere inside / behind your fireplace, and search online with words "model # + manual".

You can also identify the valve type by taking a look at it directly in your fireplace. Our remote control models are all compatible with Millivolt valve, which has TH, TH/TP terminals for connection.

c) Smart Home or RF Remote?

Answer:	When you initially install the batteries the light should flash a few times, after that it should not flash unless it is getting a signal from a remote or the batteries are low. I have never seen a unit flash the light fast and consistently for an extended period of time like you are stating. Answer:	It will not damage the siding as long as water won't. Rinse, wash then rinse again. It is safe for the plants and grass too. What you might be cleaning off might not be safe for plants but the cleaner is.
Question:	A winters worth of gas fireplace exhaust is on exterior bricks that are painted white. Will it work without stripping or damaging the painted bricks
Answer:	I think there is some potential for the product to eventually dissolve some paint, but in general it's low-impact, nothing like a petroleum-based product. Also the soot came off relatively quickly and easily (from natural stone) and you wipe off all residue with plain water. It would take much longer for it to affect paint, I believe, especially if it is good quality exterior paint that has thoroughly dried. You could always try it on a small section first. I think you can return it if it doesn't work for you.

Answer:	Used this product on smooth fire brick and it dissolved the pitch. Should expect the same performance on smooth cement. Suggest the use of many rags, multiple wash/rinses, and please use heavy duty gloves and eye protection.

Answer:	Yes they are. I always use two regular wood logs and one dura flame log and it works perfectly. Makes for a beautiful fire.

Answer:	We did. I would suggest waiting until the color has burned off before roasting the marshmallows. The color burns off fairly quickly.
Question:	Does the blue skull turn sooty and dark? Or is there other color options? I want it to turn that sooty color, not stay blue
Answer:	Do you trust China not to send a tainted product? In other words no I would not advise using these inside I use all the chemicals involved I am a pyro technician. And a handle these chemicals you need to wear a respirator and protective clothing and gloves, does that sound safe for indoors?
Question:	How long does the skull last for
Answer:	We always use 2 packets and that gives you 40 to 45 minutes. The other brands are pretty weak. These packets last long enough to really enjoy and the colors are brilliant. On New Years eve we all sat around a great camp fire and my son tossed 2 packets onto the fire. When the very vivid flames began our family members from young to old were stunned! We told them what it was and the smiles and laughs were truly priceless. Everyone began taking pictures and enjoyed the trickery. Its really worth the money. It lasts just long enough. I only buy the packets, the crystals fizzle out and the color is not like these packets.
