Question:	I have old Keystone Kool deck which has some cracks. Can this product be applied like paint over it using a paint roller
Answer:	Hi Alejandro.Yes, Cool is rolled onto your pool deck surface using a 1/2" - 3/4" nap roller cover. It does a good job of filling in the smaller cracks (under 1/8"). For larger cracks, you should fill them with Cool using a paint brush. Apply the coating into the cleaned crack and then feather out the edges so you don't end up with lap marks once it dries. After the patchwork is dry, roll out your two coats and the patch should virtually disappear. Cool applies much like paint does and you'll find that it's a super-friendly product to use. Answer:	Would not recommend! It stains easily , but it is still hot to the feet!!! Very disappointed, for the price!

Answer:	Hi. Thanks for your question. Cool can be applied in multiple coats to correct small issues with standing water. However, when you get to 3/8", you're probably better off with a leveling compound that you can find at your local home improvement center. Answer:	Hi. Thanks for your question. Yes, Cool is compatible with hydraulic cement. It will adhere to the patch. However, be aware that if the patch fails, the coating will also fail. Patch failure can come from improper preparation of the surface, improper mixing of the cement patch, the patch not being properly applied, and from environmental impact (water intrusion, impact from heavy objects, etc.) All in all, if you properly prepare and apply the patch, Cool is perfectly suited to overcoat it. Answer:	Yes it can I used it with a 5 gal bucket 1 50 lb bag and 2.5 l of water. started with half of the bag and worked the rest of the way up. I used a cordless 18 v drill I bought at Harbor freight on sale for 25 dollars.
Question:	Are these appropriate for polyurethanes
Answer:	I tried all of the suggestions in this thread for a similar paddle mixer and nothing worked. Pulling with a screwdriver in the loop caused the loop to break. Standing on the bottom while pulling with plyers caused the paddles to bend. Also tried hot water and even a heat gun and still the top would not budge. Finally I used a knife to slit the top along the side and peel it off and found that it was adhered to the shaft. I had to use the knife to scrape off the residue and leftover bits and pieces to get the shaft to fit securely in the drill chuck.
Question:	Should I put this in the refrigerator
Answer:	I didn’t have any issues with it leaving a mark. It’s tapered enough to give you a clean line but not sharp enough to cut anything.

Rolling & Tipping

For best results, the person holding the roller "rolls" vertically, applying an even coat of paint. The person with the brush "tips" horizontally. We recommend a natural bristle brush or a badger hair brush for tipping, instead of a foam brush, which will drag the paint away, rather than level it.

Question:	Will this run off 220 volt? ( I will be purchasing in U.S. but using at home in the Philippines
Answer:	No! It has a 120VAC motor. You would need a transformerr to drop the voltage from 220 to 120. Also, you probably also have 50 Hertz AC power while these are designed to run at 60 Hertz (used to be called "cycles"). If that's the case, buy paint rollers and brushes!
Question:	Can you spray stain blocker
Answer:	I've used this sprayer with KILZ stain blocker, you may have to add some FLOOD paint thinner but pay attention to how much you add to the size of can you are using, and only if your sprayer does not spray well with the stain blocker off the shelf. Also consider using a different tip if you don't get the results you desire.
Question:	What do you recommend to clean it if someone forgot to clean it out after using it? Mineral spirits
Answer:	Totally depends on paint used. Water for latex, mineral spirits or paint thinner for oil based, or lacquer thinner for lacquer based metal paints.

Answer:	The hose is NOT 100' long it is shipped with a 25' hose. The unit is designed to allow use of 100' of hose. The wheels will not let the unit roll around freely without tilting it back first so they are not the problem on a scaffold. That said, I would still discourage putting the pump on a scaffold.

The only way to successfully affix these wheels to the wide boy so that they are not permanent is by tightly wrapping just the right amount of 1.5" masking tape on the threaded stem of each caster so that it will slide up into the hole and thus lodge inside the wide boy without falling out when you pick it up..... Answer:	I didn't see any problem as low as you have the right paint. Just protect against over spray on things you don't want painted.

Answer:	I've been a painter for over 20 yrs and used many sprayers, any paint atomized to spray will float 200 ft and stick to a car with very little breeze. Buy .01 mil plastic and cover any cars within 200 ft in the direction of any breeze, it the wind is blowing towards your back yard, paint quick before it changes direction. usually spray will settle within a 10 to 20 ft area from an outside wall with the most paint being in a 3 ft area below the wall. Plastic is cheaper than painting a nice car for someone else !!!
Question:	Can this spray benjamin moore advance paint (waterborne alkyd paint) unthinned? if yes, what size tip do i use
Answer:	The max spray tip is the key. I have a Graco X7 Magnum Pro and my max tip size is .017. This is found in the last two numbers of the number on the tip. So a tip marked 517 would mean that the spray tip orifice is .017. The “5” is half the width of the spray fan pattern. So the 517 tip would spray a pattern that is 10 inches wide (5 x 2) and would spray a paint that requires an .017 orifice which is a very thick paint. The orifice size requirement can be found in the paint specifications. This unit comes with a 515 tip, and I could not find the max tip size but I suspect this is it — .015 — which is a big orifice and can handle almost all latex or oil based paints but I would not use oil base in a sprayer because of clean up. Much easier to run water through it for clean up than mineral spirits. I am currently painting my deck and I’m using Sherwin-Williams Super Deck product which is thicker than normal paint, and I’m using a .015 spray tip. I’m using a 315 on the railings to limit overspray and conserve paint. The 315 will give me a 6” spray pattern and the .015 is within the manufactures specifications for this product. I could have used a .017 but it would have put out a lot more paint and made it a little more difficult to control overspray and conserve paint. I hope that helps. This is a great sprayer at a very good price, but follow the directions and make sure you clean it properly and use pump armor when stored.

Answer:	Maybe Slightly Thinner than warm Syrup, So probably between Warm Syrup & Water. A word of advice though, I had an extremely difficult time working with this product & had to sand and reapply many coats to get a satisfactory finish. It dries fast & if you run a brush over it after is has sat more than a minute it will create rough brush marks. Additionally if you apply more than a very thin layer it will crack similar to a crackle pattern. Unless you are putting this over a pure white background I would recommend that you use the standard "Crystal Clear" non-water based urethane. It has only a light yellow tint and is much easier to work with in my experience.

Answer:	It's for painting as a tool. But it does come with a course insert for thick liquids so if can mite thin some may just do the trick.

Answer:	We are currently using this sprayer for disinfecting. It does very well at providing a fine mist . The adjustment on the trigger adjusts the volume of product that is sprayed and we had to turn this out all the way to get the pattern we needed. Once we made the adjustment the adjusting screw would not stay in place. The spring didn't have enough tension to maintain the setting. We remedied this by wrapping a strip of duct tape around the trigger and adjustment knob once we had it set. Now we can grab it and go. We have used it for roughly 7 months now and it has certainly held up to the task. I feared the disinfectant chemicals would eat this sprayer alive but to my surprise it is still working as designed.

Etching bare concrete before applying your top coat is vital to a long lasting paint job. Answer:	Mine didn't come apart . I discarded it when done with it . You can't clean it after using it with epoxy .
