Question: | Is this bike primarily made in America |
Answer: | It is for 1 tape measure. don't know why they show 5. |
Question: | Blade armor right |
Answer: | Hi Lindsay, I use measuring tapes daily and they will rust if you put them away wet. It is more likely for older tapes that have worn edges to rust. Sometimes wiping them on your shirt or jeans will do the job, but if you get real wet wipe it and lock it out to dry overnight. (inside) If that doesn't work move to Arizona. Jeff |
Question: | do you sell just the replacement tape for |
Answer: | Mine is a 40 '. |
Question: | is this for 1 tape measure or |
Answer: | I know that for the 35' FatMax, there are 2 models. The cheaper on and a model that is about $8+ more - different is an attachment the goes on the end to can hook to something so it doesn't pop off when you extend the tape. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this have a measurement chart on the underside of the tape when it's pulled out? Saw one on a this old house video and trying to find the brand |
Answer: | I don't know if they are tempered but they are a much better quality than my last set from a dollar store. The largest flat head screwdriver was able to loosen a very, old, tiny screw head buried in a ring for a outdoor chair I was trying to rebuild. My husband has used the set in his working on his 1956 Oldsmobile. And the smallest Philips screwdriver helped me put the tiny screw back on my glasses. |
Question: | What is the inside measurement |
Answer: | From product description: Set. Includes: -Includes: (1) Phillips #0, (1) Phillips #1, (1) Slotted 1.4mm, (1) Slotted 1.8mm, (1) Slotted 2.3mm, (1) Slotted 3.0mm, Plastic Case. It's a good general use set, decent quality. |
Question: | Is this tape measure made in the USA |
Answer: | no they are not magnetic. |
Question: | how many do you get |
Answer: | Unlikely. Not quite small enough. Hey get an eyeglass fixit kit for 2 bucks at CVS for that job. Comes w/ screws too. Yeah. |

User questions & answers
Question: | What is the measurment of the casing |
Answer: | Ours was just a single pack. |
Question: | There are a lot of negative comments that people only got 1, but it's supposed to be a pack of 3. Is this really that obvious of a rip-off |
Answer: | plastic |
Question: | Does it come in a 3 pack |
Answer: | Hmm...Well, assuming you didn't get a defective product, perhaps you aren't pushing the locking mechanism down far enough? I believe it is basically a friction clutch inside that grips the blade with a force proportional to how far down you push it. Maybe you just need to push it down farther? The clutch on mine was a bit stiff when it first arrived, but it loosened up a bit after I worked it back and forth a few times. |
