Answer:	What apartment? The milky house shower head has a powerful shower but the lights disappeared within two days. It’s the second one I bought and the same thing happened. Don’t waste your money

One of the lights was considerably dimmer than the other on just the second use and by the third use, it was completely dead. You would have assumed I left it on for hours, but I did not. I couldn’t have been used for more than 5 mins in total. And of course, I’m a week past the return policy so am stuck with a useless, non-working light. Do not recommend purchasing these. Installation Steps:



1.First remove printed paper mounting template from back of unit.

2. Drill two pilot holes in the location where you want to mount the picture light. Place screws (included) in pre-drilled holes. Tighten slightly until secure, but do not tighten all the way. Slide EZ Mount Bracket keyhole slots over screw heads and into position.

3. Use the built-in bubble level to make sure the mounting bracket is level before securing it to the wall.

4. Once you confirm that the bracket is level, tighten the screws to secure it to the wall. Take care not to over tighten.

5. To hang the picture light on the mounting bracket, align the picture light with the mounting bracket and slide the unit down. Picture light will lock into position.

6. To remove the picture light from the mounting bracket:

A) Hold the picture light by the base (not light head).

B) Slide the unit up.

C) Once the body releases from mounting bracket, pull the unit out.

Answer:	The batteries go in the black rectangular base. The base slides off/on the mounting bracket easily to remove it from (and place it back on) the wall when you need to change the batteries. It's really very simple. Note - the light dims as the batteries weaken. So if you feel it's not bright enough lately, just change the batteries.

Answer:	Yes, if you can get past the issues with mounting. I tried to mount mine above a framed picture on a sheetrock wall. Simple, right? After two hours of trying, I had to quit to avoid putting my fist through the wall. I spent 40 years working as an industrial electrician in computer chip companies and at Nuclear power plants, so I'm hardly lacking in the understanding of simple 'screw it to the wall' situations. I did manage to get it to stay on the wall long enough to hang the light portion. Essentially, it dangles there. I expect it to tumble down at any time. Too bad. The light is attractive and has an innovative remote control. Why they would make something with so much potential yet skimp on a slip-shod mounting device is beyond me. Do yourself a favor. Save your money and nerves. Spend it elsewhere on something perhaps more expensive but sturdier. Cheap gets expensive.

Answer:	The stock mounting pads/tape look very close to 3M Outdoor Mounting Tape, though I'd recommend choosing the level of stickiness and permanence based on where you're putting them. The "permanent" varieties can remove paint or leave adhesive residue when removed.

Answer:	It depends on where you use them. The LED strip is waterproof but the battery pack is not. If the battery pack doesn't get wet they should be fine outside!
