1.Download the APP by scanning the following QR Codes(Notes: The same operations on the following two APPs. Let us take “Smart Life” APP for an example):

2.Search “smart life” APP through Google Play (For Android) or APP Store(For Apple-iOS) and download it

3.Register and log in to the APP

1).Open the “Smart Life”APP

2).Log in your account and password. Please register a new account on first use

4.Configuration

1).Connect the power supply of this star projector and the host status is “OFF” switch

2). Connect to the Wi-Fi: Slides repeatedly for 3 timers with the following steps:

OFF-Wi-Fi-OFF-Wi-FiOFF-Wi-Fi, keep the host switch in “Wi-Fi” till the indicatorlight show white and fast-flashing. Note: the interval of the powerswich sliding should not exceed 10 seceonds

Turn on “Smart Life” APP, click “Add Devices”, select”Lighting---Light-ing(Wi-Fi)”, choose your home Wi-Fi and enter password(If applicable), and click “Next” (Note”Connect your phone to a 2.4GHz network router, and 5GHz network not supported).

User questions & answers

Question:	Is this twice the price because it's basically "insurance" for your kids not buying things without you knowing? What else do you get that's worth it
Answer:	You can set a pin or disable voice purchasing on any Echo device. The subscriptions, case, and insurance is what you get. After using a regular Dot in my 9 year old’s room I am considering getting a kids edition for the subscriptions. We use Amazon storytime at bedtime and have been through most of the stories twice before they added more. The other services may be worth it depending on your kids, their ages, and interests for having one.
Question:	Where can i find a list of available audiobooks included with freetime unlimited
Answer:	I couldn't find a list so I started making some pages with pics of the titles available. I have printed these out so my kids can look at the various books and choose. Question:	I do not have any other alexa products. Can the kids dot funtion on its own
Answer:	Yes and No. This may be a no-brainer for most, but was a problem for me. Functioning on its own can mean many things. Yes, it can work as your only Alexa product. However, you need to have enough room for an Alexa app on your devices to link/synch your echo dot and it is not compatible with kindle's software, which is just horrible considering they are both Amazon exclusives. I have several Amazon products. I was assuming I could enable my Amazon kindles' Alexa app to the echo's. I cannot. I do not have enough space on my phone for any apps outside of one and its storage does not provide an sd slot. (Kindles do, my 'smart phone' does not.) I was able to hook our echo up to my parents' iPhone app and I am sure you have a friend who will do the same if for whatever reason you don't have storage on your phone either. But, I wanted to control everything from the tablet's free time, etc. So I am that .01% poor enough that it doesn't work for. You need wifi, an Amazon account, and an Alexa app. I thought my kindle's Alexa app would be sufficient. It is not. You need Android/IOS, which of course, most things do. But as an Amazon product, you'd assume other Amazon products would be compatible.
Question:	Can it be programmed to only work if you end with the command "Please" to teach my kids some respect
Answer:	No. I have several dots now and am happy they don't. Please don't take this as condescension, it is not meant to be, but this is a product that is engineered to make you spend your money. We call ours 'computer' and have our children treat the dots as such - machines for our use. Teaching kids to respect and empathize with 'Alexa' will only better allow Amazon to get your money! Yes, when Alexa is full sentient and has feelings I'll reconsider, but right now she is just a voice recognition program that is not unique to you and your family!
