I found this helpful explanation about measurement differences on the body: "Although there is no one “normal” temperature reading, a temperature, taken orally, ranging between 97°F and 100°F is considered normal. A rectal temperature is generally 1° higher and an underarm (auxillary) temperature will be 1° lower."

Answer:	Yes it does. But I would highly recommend gettin a ToolkitRC M6 version 2. Instead of the Supulse RC charger. Supulse charger is a rebranded ToolkitRC M6 version 1. In our user's manual we suggest cleaning with 70% alcohol after each use to avoid infection and should not be used if there is any infection in the ear.
