Answer:	Both portions say "USA" but not "Made in the USA" - Company is based in Minnesota, could be 80% the case and box Made in the USA while the internals are sourced overseas. No other markings like FCC etc. which makes me doubt its Made in USA.

You should then hear the tune you had selected. Answer:	It detects any movement! It is surprisingly loud!! The small door alarms you get from the dollar store are nothing compared to this. Yes, you would hear it outside the door. Of course noise would be muffled but heard from a short distance. It’s hard on the ears, when I’ve set it off, my ears can’t stand it too long. Just make sure nothing inside the storage can fall over on its own and activate alarm.

Answer:	When setting up your sensor, the app will walk you through a different pairing process if you are a pet parent. Although the sensitivity of our sensors has been engineered to rule out as much pet activity as possible, there are other steps you'll need to take. Our first recommendation is to keep sensors away from surfaces your animal frequents (favorite chairs or window ledges) as this will help prevent false alarms. Question:	Why does it take 5 mins to arm itself and start sensing? Why not immediately
Answer:	Wireless motion detectors in many home security brands (notably Ademco in my experience) save battery by only transmitting once every x amount of minutes. If it detects motion and then you arm it, it won't see anything for 5 minutes because of the battery saving feature. Imagine if the motion detector would transmit every second of movement it sees. It will run the battery down very fast.

Answer:	I don't think they have that "official" rating, but I've had two of the three of mine outside for the past 8 months being rained and snowed on and they still work fine. Not everything need an official IP rating in order to work just fine in inclement weather. You'll be fine.

Answer:	I have used these for a few months now. They do work and detect motion as stated in the description. I would guess about the length of a drive way that fits two cars. They can be annoying when they go off because they picked up cars going by and by the time you look there is nothing or nobody there. I have also noticed if the batteries are running low, they will go off for no reason. Maybe that it's way of telling you it's time to change the batteries. You have to place them very carefully so that they pick up motion that matters to you.

Question:	Do you have hard wired version? Normally the sensor is mounted somewhere out of reach. Why would anyone wants to change battery periodically
Answer:	No one WANTS to change a battery periodically but if there is no available outlet, it’s better than nothing. And every couple of years is no big deal. (Plus it looks much better if there is no electrical cord running down the side of your house.)
Question:	Can I use this to trigger other smart outlets
Answer:	Short answer: Yes Long answer: It depends. I don’t know how home automation works with android, but Phillips Hue is Apple HomeKit compatible. The sensor shows up as 3 sensors in the Apple Home app, motion sensor, light/lux sensor, and temperature sensor. You can create automation rules in Apple Home that can control any HomeKit compatible outlet. I don’t know if Phillips Hue has released any smart outlets (pretty sure they just do lighting), but if so then you could probably create a routine for it in the Hue app. Note: If you’re new to HomeKit, you should be aware that Apple HomeKit automation only works when you have an Apple device acting as a home automation hub. This can either be an AppleTV or iPad (that stays at home). If all you have is an iPhone, it either won’t work at all, or if it does it will only work when your iPhone is connected to your home WiFi.
Question:	How long will the battery last
Answer:	About 2-3 years
Question:	Any way to keep the floodlights on (at a dim level) and they get brighter when detecting motion. AND off altogether if it's daylight
Answer:	Glad to see there's finally a work around for this. I previously had an app (I can't remember the name) that allowed you to create logic linked to any smart platform... and also use things like the Nest Doorbell... so I had it set to: Hue came on sunset at 10% dim. If Nest detects person, set Hue outdoor lights to 100% Brightness for 30sec., then activate scene 10% dim. It worked great, but the people who developed that app discontinued it. It worked for a while afterward too but then one day just stopped. I'm so glad to see I can do this again!!! (since you can buy "dumb" lights that do this on their own with 2 level dusk dawn motion sensors)

Question:	Does this work with Wink
Answer:	Wink does recognize some multisensors. I am running a Wink 2 hub and have connected some non-certified sensors, both ZigBee and ZWave. I have not tried these sensors. The Wink system is very simple and I have replaced my Casa Verde with the Wink (I was using both and Casa Verde had a plug in that worked with the WInk hub as well.
Question:	How fast should humidity reflect reality? Took a shower 40 minutes ago, humidity is normal in bathroom now, and device just reported it is still
Answer:	Depending on the reporting threshold you have set for the sensor, it would change as fast as 3 minutes after the threshold is met. So if humidity threshold is left at the default 10%, it will need to decrease by 10% or more for the sensor to report the change. If it only changed by 9%, it won't be reported so if you're looking to monitor humidity closely, we recommend changing the reporting threshold for humidity to 2-3% for more frequent reports.
Question:	Does this also work as a z-wave range extender
Answer:	Battery operated devices, such as this, will not work as a range extender since the radio is off most of the time or turns on and off.
Question:	Can this be used outside
Answer:	I've been using mine outdoors. Mine is mounted high under the cover of the front porch and I use it to notify of outdoor activity and to turn on the outside lights at night when there is motion. This motion sensor is slow to respond, day or night, if it responds at all. I have the same issue with the other two that I use indoors in bathrooms.

Answer:	You can place the sensor anywhere. We have it mounted to a heavy duty magnet so we can move it wherever we want.
Question:	how far will it detect motion
Answer:	Not sure. I placed it about 40' from the receiver. It only works maybe 1 out of 20 times. I do not recommend his product. It garbage.
Question:	Why when motion is detected does the receiver keeps chiming until i turn it off. i assume it should alert me and then shut off on its own? i.e.; if i wasn’t home and it detected motion it would keep going off indefinitely until i return to shut it off
Answer:	It goes off only once with motion and resets unless it detects motion again in 15 -30 seconds.
Question:	It wasys the detector range is 23ft but what is the width/angle of the beam
Answer:	Mine went off constantly no matter what I did. I made sure the wind was not effecting it. I would not buy again

Question:	How does it withstand winter weather in Michigan
Answer:	We have only had ours mounted a few months but did have some snow a few days and they still worked great. No difference than warmer weather.
Question:	How fast does the light turn on once it detects motion? Instantly or is there a few second wait
Answer:	The light instantly turns on.
Question:	What are the diffrrent settings? A,B,C
Answer:	Only have one button on the back in a recessed area. No sliding switch. Wonder if they accidentally left it off ? If I click it it changes the mode each time I click, but it is hard to figure out which corresponds to A, B, & C in the instructions. Wonder if I should send the set of 4 that are like that back?
Question:	Is there a minimum size it detects—ie.will it detect a small dog, or just people
Answer:	Yes, a small dog will turn it on. Typically ours gets turned on at night by rabbits in our lawn. Doesn't bother it though, the solarpanels keep it charged and it always works.
