Answer:	They are wide. They fit in the top of a tapered votive cup. I put a flat tealight in the bottom of the cup and these fit in the top. It looks like. Votive candle.

Answer:	First I think it depends on the batteries you use. I use the Amazon Basic brand. I use the 6 hour setting and I haven't had to change the batteries for months. I think it's been about 5 months ... it's been so long I don't remember for sure.

Answer:	There is no remote. Once you insert the battery and close the candle it will stay on for 6 hours, automatically shut off, then light at the same time everyday for 6 hours. I would suggest having the batteries all set up and then close up the candles as quickly as you can so they all come on about the same time.

Question:	Does the flame on these candles give off a soft white light or in orangish/yellow?? I hate the orange light
Answer:	Thank you for your question. These products are made from real wax and as such should not have prolonged exposure (more than 12 hours) to temperatures outside of their happy range: 40°F - 90°F. As for the snow, it will not do any damage to the ombre wax finish if some snow falls onto the candle, but you will want to ensure that candles do not end up in a puddle or allow water to get at the inner electronic workings or battery compartment.
Question:	will it melt in the heat of summer
Answer:	They can be used outdoors, however they should not be exposed to temperatures exceeding 90 degrees or direct sunlight for extended periods of time. These candles are made from real wax and the wax (like any real wax product) can become soft and lose its shape somewhat if exposed to heat for extended periods of time. Answer:	No, there is no scent. To go further, I bought these exact candles at Pottery Barn for a whole lot more money! They use C batteries, 2 each, and they give a beautiful glow. They are not tacky looking, the light is good, oh, and the exterior is wax coated, so they also look like real candles.There is a way that you can set them for an auto on/off. That is a great feature as well.I'm very happy with them...they didn't fit for my last application, but that's not their fault!I think you'll be happy with the purchase.

Answer:	There are three positions for the little black switch underneath the candle.. one is "off", one is "on" and one is "timer". I used the "timer" setting last night and it worked nicely. It has printed beneath the switch "5 hours on, 19 hours off. Cycle automatically. Repeats daily". So I'm assuming the "on" position stays on perpetually, though I haven't tried that setting yet. Hope that helps!

Question:	Can the candles be turned on without the remote
Answer:	I don't know if they will withstand 100 degree plus weather, because I live in Chicago. We have hot weather in the summer, but not over 100 degrees. They do withstand direct sunlight, however. They were out on my patio, which has full sun, all summer with no problems. Just make sure whatever holder you put them in has drainage for the rain. They shouldn't sit in water. Luminara brand candles are the best. The technology is patented from Disney. In the winter I keep them in a luminary in the house. They look like a real candle flickering. I love them!
Question:	Will these candles cycle every 24 Hours
Answer:	They do very well outside but I would nor recommend putting them in direct line of sprinkler system. I don't believe they would last long with so much water daily..
