Answer:	No, it is not overly heavy. I find it just heavy enough so that it stays where you want it without tipping

Answer:	Yes. You can clean the lens with warm water. My difficulty with this product is it's difficult to get it in just the right position to sit comfortably and read. I got it for my 95 year old mom who reads 24/7 but her eyesight is going. We can't get it so the lens is just the right position to clearly read the page. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The lens is made of plastic but works well.
Question:	How much heat do the bulbs put off
Answer:	Both of the OttLite 43828C 2-in-1 LED Mag Floor and Table Lamps use LED lights which produce very little to no heat. With LED technology heat is dissipated by metal heat sinks that wick the heat away from the light source, keeping them cool. These lamps are also very bright (instant brightness) and the large magnifier is wonderful to work on detailed and intricate projects as the stand allows you to position the light as needed, freeing up both hands.

Question:	Is the neck of the light black or white? it shows both in the pictures but there is no choice when purchasing
Answer:	The lamp I purchased through Amazon a few months ago has a white neck. Good question, though. I had the same confusion, as I had seen a white neck in product pictures through some sources, and a black neck through other sources. I was wondering if Ottlite had switched from white to black for newer units. My preference was for white, so I was glad that's what I received. I have not seen any answer as to why there are different color necks in the different pictures. I did not ask Ottlite for an answer.
Question:	This may be silly but can you use it as a lamp, then if you need to look at something closely, pull it down? or is it only to be used as a magnifier
Answer:	I've been using the lamp at my sewing machine. The light swivels from where the rod connects to the post. The lamp also bends, much like a goose-necked light so that I can use the magnifier to see my work up closely. The one problem I have noticed, however, is that the light wants to separate from the pole. The other day I used the light & magnifier to correct a mistake in my knitting. Amazing. The mistake was corrected and I didn't have to start the sock over. I hope I answered your question. I would have liked to see more stability in the connection at the pole.

Answer:	I am not 100% sure but I don't think it has that option. I believe the Auto Attendant is setup so that they can dial a persons extension. I guess you could have them press 1 and it would go to another machine that has daily specials.

Answer:	Yes, there is access plug-in port (2.5mm) for standard headset or headphones usage; those headphones used for cellphone (3.5mm) do not work.
Question:	Can the voicemail feature be turned off
Answer:	Yes it can. Each line can be programmed individually as to how voicemail, answering system etc functions.

Answer:	For the unit I purchased, the cordless phone came in the same box with the base station and is pre-configured to work out of the box with the base. I also purchased an additional cordless handset which needed to be mapped to the base.

This volume is divided into two distinct sections: Part I, “Organizing for the Disorganized,” outlines my ADHD-friendly organizing methodology, so you can apply it to your home, your schedule, and your life. It discusses the precepts and myths of good organization, and the reasons why some organizational strategies may be suitable for one individual with ADHD, while others are disastrous. Part II, “Individual Projects,” is arranged by room or project and consists of common, real-life organizing problems faced by my ADHD clients and the solutions to those problems. These have been limited to mostly small-scale organizing tasks that won’t overwhelm.

Once you have finished reading Part I, feel free to flip ahead and find an organizational project that suits your needs. With each project you complete, my hope is that you’ll have gained enough confidence in your organizing abilities to tackle yet another task until you’re well on your way to a happy, harmonious, and more organized life.

The Rules of Organizing

1. Inventory (i.e., your “stuff”) must conform to storage. In the ADHD home especially, inventory MUST NOT fill storage.
2. Make your things easy to access and easier to put away. In the ADHD home, ease of stowage takes precedence over ease of retrieval.
3. Only touch (or sort) it once. For example, sort or toss mail as soon as you open it; don’t add it to a pile you’ll have to sort again later.
4. Duplicate where necessary to store things where you use them.
5. Eliminate items that unnecessarily duplicate functions (e.g., handpowered can opener or electric can opener, not both).
6. Name your cabinets and shelves (dish cabinet, sock drawer, etc.) to remind yourself that only those items are stored therein.
7. Make sure the “rough storage” areas in your home are well lit and easily accessible.

Here are some of the tricks that make this an ADHD-friendly work space:

• Stationery essentials fit together in one drawer—it’s inefficient to both manage a large inventory and wander the house hunting down supplies.
• Retractable pens eliminate the distraction of playing with caps.
• Randomly colored folders (not to be confused with color-coded folders) act as a quick visual reminder for finding papers.
• Stackable trays allow you to file without opening a drawer and hunting down a folder.
• A handy wastebasket encourages you to throw out garbage the minute you are done with it.
• A deep recycling basket encourages you to throw out those questionable papers that might be garbage, because you know you can retrieve them anytime over the several months it takes to fill the bin up.
• No decorative items clutter the desktop where they would ambush efficiency. The space is attractive because is it functional and organized. Attractive wall colors, nice furniture, and wall hangings provide aesthetic appeal without ambushing efficiency.

Stitched Buttons

Life is about the details, and this project honors that belief. Buttons are such small objects, but that doesn’t mean they can’t pack a punch. They have a wide range of uses, from clothing to mixed-media jewelry to closures on bags. Adding some hand stitching can personalize them and bring that final punch of special to your project. You can find cover button kits at craft stores.

Coffee-Addict Kitchen Towel

Whether we realize it or not, our days contain rituals. Small ones, such as drinking our morning coffee, is an integral part of how we choose to begin each day.

It’s no secret that I am a coffee addict. I say that I can’t exist without it, and while it’s true that the caffeine is much appreciated, it’s the way I signal that my day is ready to begin. It forces a pause in the morning when the instinct is to hurry and frantically go about the daily tasks.

Doodle Love Lap Quilt

The word quilt is used loosely for this project. It bears a strong resemblance, but it’s missing two quilting components commonly used— batting and binding.

I started my fiber-art obsession with crazy quilts and they continue to shape much of my current work. Question:	how do I open the battery department to replace batteries
Answer:	The battery compartment on mine is actually quite easy to open. I can just slip my nails in the crack at the top back and push slightly and it slips right off. You could also use the tip of a butter knife or something similar to slip in the crack and nudge it open, then it will simply slide off. To get it back on, make sure you line up the top up level and slide it right up through the little plastic "holders" that are on both sides.
Question:	Would this be an appropriate lamp/magnifier to use when quilting
Answer:	Yes, it works for quilting. I use it for machine and hand quilting as well as machine & hand sewing. I also use it for beading and reading. The area is covers isn't big so you have to adjust it as you go but that's super easy given it's easily bendable accordion neck & actually makes staying on track easier. I even angle it in front of my sewing machine so I can see clearly when doing machine embroidery & pretty much everything else. The light isn't bright enough to use alone in a dark room but a nearby lamp or other light source should be used anyway. Never use these lamps with no other light source in the room. I love my lamp. It's everything I hoped for and more. You get 100,000 hours of light with this lamp. The lights can't be replaced that I can see. I've had mine for a very long time now, use it about 8 - 10 hours a day and it's still going strong.
Question:	Is this lamp base heavy enough that it won't topple every time you need to move the magnifier
Answer:	I put my foot on the base to readjust the angle etc. (bending the neck) Otherwise the handle, on the light lets me move it around easily. I have not had a tipping problem. I really love this lamp.
Question:	I just order the lamp but my husband is blind in the left eye and the right needs 10X can I get the lamp in this magnification
Answer:	Donna, I have never seen a lighted mag lamp like this in that level of magnification. Since you have already ordered it, try it out, you might be pleasantly surprised. My wife has Macular Degeneration and loves this lamp. We have been using it on (the same) battery power since December. The LEDs are bright and make a huge difference. Answer:	You don't have to look thru magnifier to use light. You can also just look thru magnifier with light off. The light is directional. Point it where you want light. Light has an on/off switch.
Question:	How tall is it when used as a floor lamp
Answer:	I have it extended up 47" which just allows the lamp head to be place in horizontal plane just for lighting. Otherwise to use both lens/magnifier you would need a very tall stool or stand up to view through the magnifier. I think bending the flex neck so it arcs to about 39" to the top of the arc gives more flexibility for the lamp/magnifier head combo to be used in a normal seating chair.
Question:	Is the light truly like natural light from a window or does it reflect blue, or even something warmer
