I checked in the product information section and it does state that, but be assured it definitely does not need nor does it come equipped with batteries. Looks like an editing error got in there. It is just a simple canvas bag that you pull manually. Wouldn't it be wonderful if it did have batteries and a remote, then it could just put itself away after Christmas! I like mine very much (have 2). Convenient tidy way to store your tree. If you buy one, I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

• Firstly, fix the cross bracket on the ceiling.
• Secondly, install the bulb holder and wire up accordingly.
• Thirdly, fix the lamp plate on the cross bracket.
• Lastly, Hang the crystal strings on the hook of the lamp plate. You can hang the crystal strings according to the their length (It will take some patience and time to do this. The reason why we don't hang the crystal strings in advance is for better package to avoid damage during the transition)

Notes

• The Chandelier would be better to be installed by Professional Electrician.
• Please cut off power supply when you clean the light or replace light bulbs.
• The surface of the lamp plate and the electric Wire should avoid scratching when mounting, also the electric insulation gloves must be worn when installing.
• Maybe it's not that bright if you choose low watt bulbs or warm white bulbs. You can use high watt bulbs or cool white bulbs for more brightness but no exceeding 40W and always make sure you get high quality bulb.

So you had better not install it in bathroom or outdoor. However if you have to install it outdoor or on bathroom,we recommend to install it in the soffit and please make sure the light won't directly exposed to water or rain.
Question:	What is the exact size for the hole saw can I use? And will this work with a ceiling that is 1" thick ceiling
Answer:	I didn't use a hole saw - I used a sabre saw (jig saw). the light has a 3/4" lip that will cover any irregularities in your circle. As for the 1" thickness in the ceiling, that might be a problem. However, the spring clips are quite strong, and the light is quite light. I could foresee that the pressure of the clips against the ceiling material would be sufficient to hold the light in place.
Question:	How much warranty they have???Is it really easy to get replacement as they say
Answer:	The light I used for more than a year broke down, and after contacting them, they quickly send me a new replacement directly. I don't know if they can really guarantee for five years, but it seems that there is no problem.

Connect the fixture to the hardwire box by inserting and twisting the male/female connectors

Step 4: Pushing

Push spring loaded clips on the fixture upwards and insert fixture base in to the mounting hole. Release the clips and fixture will be pulled flush to the ceiling.
