Step 1:

Remove all debris and heavy dirt. Use detergent cleaners if necessary and allow to dry. A clean surface is required for a strong bond.

Prepare

Step 2:

Prepare surface to receive tape by wiping with Acetone to remove any invisible or hard to see contaminants. Replace soiled rags with clean rags.

Cut

Step 3:

Measure to determine how much tape is needed and pre-cut tape to size. Allow for sufficient overlap where necessary.

Stick and Seal!

Step 4:

Remove release film on adhesive side of tape and carefully place tape on surface. Work air bubbles to edges of tape starting on one side and working down the length of tape. Use firm pressure to assure a strong bond. Heat from a hair dryer may be necessary in cold weather.

Answer:	I don't have them near by to be able to measure them but I can tell you that each end is a different diameter. One side pulled through my awning when I realized that they were different. Used the other side and they worked perfectly.

Answer:	I responded to this but was talking about another method I used. These fit the RV track, that is the only track I could get don't think they will fit a larger track. I crazy glued them in the fabric so the rubber wouldn't slide out. I used zip ties and clips on the end but could have just screwed them in on the ends. Strong winds will move them if you don't fasten them on the ends. PS I used them to hang sun screen o the patio front and sides. worked well.

Answer:	I assume you are talking about the 2 piece arms for the awning. One of the arms has the open and close slide (travel lock) and that is the front arm.

Wipe your Shower wall with rubbing alcohol to clean it first before applying the silicone it comes with and you won't have any problems... we love ours so much that I just bought a triple ones for all three bathrooms here at the house! My only issue with the one in the camper....hubby installed it to HIS height, not mine, so it is hard for me to reach, so he refills it for me or I get a step stool out....problem solved! lol

Answer:	Unless you want to carry it around by hand, mounting it to a shower/bath wall would be a good decision.

Answer:	It might be that the product you are trying to dispense is too thick. Try adding a little water (a dash at a time) stir it then push the button. Do this several times. If not attached to wall...shake content and then disense. It took me several times before it starting dispensing. I tested my with water, so I knew it worked. It was the dove body wash I was using that was too think. Once I got it started, it worked.

Question:	What is the atually finished size
Answer:	We have owned three of these over the years and have not experienced any issues with the zippers. We did have a side rafter problem with the feet but Carefree sent replacements that came within 2 days.
Question:	Will this fabric work on my dometic awning
Answer:	I don't see why it wouldn't work as long as you can clamp to your awning it should be fine. The rest is all Velcro. I love my room, I feel like I have double the space. It does get hot inside if all closed up. I may look for a small A/C unit for this room. It does take some time to zip/unzip all the windows. But overall I love my investment.
Question:	the description says that this fabric is "water resistant". Is it water proof? In other words will rain water drip through it
Answer:	There is a strap that attaches to the bottom and the top of the side of the RV. The side panel has a vertical flap with velcro on it that wraps around the strap. This keeps the panel against the side of the unit. It's not ideal. Older versions utilized snaps that screwed into the side of the RV and were permanent that the sides snapped into. The trade off is that the screen room can be kept for use on another unit when the current RV is sold or traded in.
Question:	are the cords sewn in for easy install on the channel attached to the camper and the spool
Answer:	It is in several pieces and comes with instructions.
Question:	If there is that much flex of the roller while traveling is there a possibility of the fabric wearing while resting on the support
Answer:	it doesn't matter what model trailer and you have, what matters is the size of the awning and manufacturer. It will work on any awning that slides into a channel on a rolling tube
Question:	Do you have to run the screws into a stud or just the side of the fiberglass
Answer:	Good afternoon, thank you for contacting Lippert Components. To better assist, can you please advise on exactly what was measured? The measurement for replacement fabric should be taken from center of arm to center of arm. This should give you a whole number (IE 18', 19' etc). If you measure 18' you would need to order an 18' replacement fabric. When the fabric is made, it is cut approximately 11" shorter than the actual size of the awning.
Question:	can this be used with an automatic 12v awning
Answer:	Good afternoon Murray! Great question, thank you for asking. Yes, the solid black fabric is the only Solera replacement vinyl fabric that will be solid black on both sides of the fabric. All other vinyl replacement fabrics will have a white underbelly.

Answer:	No there not sewn in but they go in fairly easy, maybe put alittle wd-40 on it first. The hardest part is running the piece thur the channel on the camper. We tied a piece of string to ours, so the wife could push and I’d pull on the string, again use some good old wd-40. Bill

Question:	Is the fabric waterproof
Answer:	The valance is part of the awning. My awning came with two of the three cords installed. there is one cord at the top where it attaches to the side of the RV, one on the roller at the valance, and you install the third on the roller about 4 inches from the valance cord, back towards the RV. so you end up with three cords installed. you kind of tuck the fabric into the groove on the roller with the tool they provide, which is like a screen installation tool, then work the cord into the slot. It's held in by friction, not sewn in. a few installation suggestions: lubricate the slot with silicone spray. make the end of the cord pointy instead of blunt. we put the end of the cord into an old manual pencil sharpener to taper it. you could do the same by whittling the end to a taper. be careful not to snag the edge stitching, which was pretty loose on my canopy. we put a "waist" on the cord, like an ant waist about an inch behind the tapered front piece of the cord and tied a piece of strong thread around the cord at the waist and used that to pull the cord into the slot while the other person pushed the cord. once you get past the doubled up fabric on the side, it was easy. to get past the doubled up fabric, carefully insert a star screwdriver into the end of the slot to make it wide enough to push the cord through. Kind of a cheesy approach, but you can't beat the price. I hope it holds up OK.

Answer:	in a box folded put it inside for a while to get it warm. works fine very good product.
