Answer:	it's more of a soft white similar to the older GE incandescent light builds. There isn't any amber light visible when the light is on. The scale from 5,000K which is a bright whitest light similar to sun light or a very start bright light; as it goes down the scale to 3.000K the light is a more of a yellow glow but no visible amber. I perfer 5,000K in my home, I light a very well lit room, but I feel 5,000K looks too industrial for outdoor lighting. Hope this helps.

I think it is meant to be more of a look you are looking for. The price probably comes from an old fashion looking type light rather than for utility (although like I said above, the do work great). I love mine- it gives off a nice golden glow!

I used about 50 of these bulbs for a light installation, plugged in to individual black fabric cords as well as various dimmer switches. The installation was hung in a large warehouse with a band playing under them for a music video. There was loud music playing part of the time, so there could have been *some* noise? Answer:	A21 is usually slightly larger than standard bulb.

Answer:	I finally found it on one of the Feit 3/way boxes that I still had. Feit prints the color as 2700K on it's package. I find the light I get from the 2 LED 3/way bulbs that I use in my home to be very pleasant to read or work by. Joe Aldrich

Answer:	Pretty sure it is A21...I used it to replace a 3- way CFL in a floor lamp. The feit 3- way is non- dimmable.
