Question:	Is this filter an epinl20 or epinl
Answer:	No. Top and bottom rails have to be cut to length, then assembled with side rails in tub enclosure. Glass door hardware then has to be put on doors, and doors put in place. Assembly is not hard but several things are critical. Make sure top and bottom rails are measured and cut SEPARATELY, top and bottom measurements can vary significantly. Do not cut side rails. Have a ceramic drill bit if you have to drill through tile, do not use standard drill bit. Do not drill bottom rail into tub, use silicone to secure it in place.

Answer:	Top and bottom track, (top track has 2 different profiles and can be presented in 2 different looks). 2 thick heavy glass doors. Screws to attach the side tracks, 2 side(vertical) tracks with bumpers. The handles that affix to the doors. The only thing mine didn’t come with is the silicone caulking which is required for installation.

Micron Rating Explanation

Can this system reduce TDS?

Please note that this Undersink Water Filtration System cannot reduce TDS. Not for hard water.

TDS stands for total dissolved solids. It is composed of inorganic salts and a small amount of organic matter. This filter cannot lower the TDS value because it reduces harmful substances while retaining minerals such as potassium, calcium, sodium, and magnesium, which are beneficial for your body.

Can the system filter well water?

No. This system is designed for Municipal Tap Water. If using well water as the source, please make sure the feed water has been through a pre-filtration system, otherwise, large particles in well water will clog the filter easily and shorten filter life.

Answer:	The 5-year expected life of the EPINL30 is based on a maximum usage of 1500 gallons annually. High levels of sediment or iron in the water supply may clog the filter and reduce its life.
Question:	does this work for septic systems
Answer:	The filter housing alone is 10 inches long.
Question:	How frequent I have to change filter
Answer:	I would just use a strong tape. Mine is just on the floor next to it to keep the refrigerator closest to the wall.

Answer:	My guess is that it was rated at up to 5 years based on the 20,000 gallon rating. The additional KDF filter media not present in most 6 month fridge filters (most are simple carbon granule filters) also has bacterial properties that allows it to be used safely longer, but if your incoming water has problems it might not be wise to use it for 5 years. Legal stuff and all that = no 5 year statement. I used one of these for 4 years and then cut it open. No signs of any problems. Everything looked clean (not that there couldn't be microscopic problems and my city water is already pretty good). While I liked the filter, I bought it for $30 back then. It would be ridiculous to pay $130 as shown now (which I assume is a temporary price hike).

Question:	What is the pressure drop across the filter? What kind of a flow can one expect? What if one has a couple of showers going simultaneously
Answer:	I am on city water, we get lots of calcium scale. So I am using a calcium filter right after the meter (to keep scale out of all my pipes) then a carbon under sink filter for taste. I don't care if my boiler or toilet water tastes good, but want better taste out of the sink, dishwasher, ect.
Question:	If the valve is in the 'off' or 'bypass' position can you change the filter without having water spray everywhere
Answer:	If you use the right Carbon filter with this housing, it will reduce lead. As sold here, it will not. In a water purification system for drinking water, you would want one prefilter stage (like this) and at least one carbon filter stage (this housing with a good carbon filter would work). Your flow rate, intended use, and other factors will affect which system you should choose. This is sold as a whole-house filter, not a drinking water system.

Answer:	It uses the standard 10 inch filters that are pretty much universally available including Dupont, Culligan, Micronex, and many others.

Answer:	Any standard 10" replacement cartridge can be used with this filter housing. The "Frequently Bought Together" section has a sample of filters available. I use a sentiment cartridge ahead of a charcoal cartridge (in 2 separate filter housings) to remove particulates and odors from my water. Works very well.

The best time is 1 year or less, the filter cartridge maintenance is much cheaper than the other brands, so it will still save you a lot of money even you change often. Answer:	I put gauges on both sides of my filters (i installed two a 50 micron and a 5) and being on a well wondered the same thing. It's been 6 months and time to change them, for the most part nothing more than 2 to 3 pounds of drop. They are very dirty now and it increased a little, but not much. Only have one bathroom so can't answer that part of your question. Paul

Answer:	Yes, there is a pressure relief button that releases a small amount of water and it is unavoidable for a bit to spill from the full cartridge -- but no active pressurized water spray.

Answer:	I'm not certain of your question(s) but will attempt to answer what I think you're asking. This is a great water filtration system, especially if you need 1" water pipe connections. The unit comes with hanger bracket and screws, filter wrench and battery for the filter-change indicator light. The unit comes with an O-ring but does not include a spare. The filters are basically 4-1/2" x 10". I use a 5-micron, polypropylene filter for sediment and rust which I've had no issues with. Also, this kit does not come with a filter. I assume with all the choices of replacement filters it would be difficult for Culligan to determine which one to include. Hopefully this helps answer your questions concerning the WH-HD200-C?

Answer:	Louie, I have install the Culligan WH-HD200-C and had very little water pressure drop. Please check your filter rating. I am using a 20 Micron Filter. The Lower the Micron # is, will effect your pressure. Buy a water pressure gauge and check your incoming water pressure and then check the pressure at the hose bib at the rear of the house. If you are using city water there should be a water pressure control valve on the incoming water line that can be adjusted to increase or decrease your water pressure.

Question:	Is there a flow direction? One end the inlet and the other the outlet
Answer:	Release the water pressure from your water line first. You can do this by turning off your main water supply, then opening up the faucet or pressing your refrigerator water dispenser; depending upon what what are you trying to filter. After you do that, press the round collet in along with the tubing at the same time. Hold the collet in towards the filter, then pull the tubing straight out with one quick fast tug. At times, it can be a little tricky, but you will get the hang of it after you do it once or twice. Hope this helps, Robert

Question:	How long it's gonna work? I know the maximum capacity is 2000 gallons and it depends on how much I use the ice maker, but any approximation
Answer:	It's really not necessary, but if you have opaque plastic tubing & enough length you can splice the tubing again & install another filter several feet apart. If you have flexible mesh tubing under the sink, I definitely wouldn't. These filters are so inexpensive, we just replace them about every 2-3 years.

Answer:	I use them to prevent water spots while washing vehicles. I didn't notice any difference in effectiveness there. I did notice a drop in pressure (compared to no filter) with the Amazon Basics one... need to switch back to camco to see if there's a difference (I simply don't remember). Both work equally well for removing hard water spots and have plenty of pressure. The Amazon one had a splash of black crud upon first usage (camco didn't).... but I know you're supposed to flush all of these before use.

Answer:	It will remove much of the chlorine, however many municipality used chloramine these days which it will not remove. In order to remove flouride you must do reverse osmosis.

Step 1

Turn off the cold water valve and turn on the faucet to ensure that there is no residual water.

Reduce the cold water hose from the cold water valve.

Step 2

Connect the 3/8” female compression end of the inlet hose to the cold water valve.

Connect the other end of the inlet hose to the filter inlet.

Connect the 3/8” male compression end of the outlet hose to the faucet hose. Connect the other end of the outlet hose to the filter outlet.

Step 3

Select the proper fittings to fix the filter.

Option 1-Bracket: Select the proper position on the cabinet wall. Install the bracket and then push the filter into the bracket.

Option 2-Cable tie mounts: Take out 4 cable tie mounts and select the proper position for pasting them. Thread the cable ties into the cable tie mounts and fix the filter.

Step 4

Turn on the cold water valve to flush the filter for 5 minutes. Check for any leakage.
