Am not positive it wasn't mentioned in the directions or packaging, but my FULL XL size that I ordered came tightly wrapped in plastic inside of a box & to my surprise there was a very thin, almost papery thin cloth covering over the topper. I went ahead & left it on because it doesn't seem to hinder performance in any way.

Answer:	It would take 2 people to roll up a king size or queen and you would need to tie it on both ends and the middle; but it could be done. You would also need a big closet to store it in! Not a basement or anywhere musty because it would absorb the smell!

Answer:	The lavender topper actually smells like lavender. You could put a fitted sheet on it and just tuck the excess under. Just try to get a fitted sheet thats not extra deep for a better fit. I would recommend putting a waterproof mattress pad on it first and then the fitted sheet so as to protect it.

Question:	Does it come with a warranty
Answer:	It may say it comes with a warranty but they didn't respond to my complaint about it puckering up and causing lumps under my back resulting in pain! I don't recommend it. I've had many toppers throughout the years and this is the first one to do this. It's a 3 inch thick with the little holes that are supposed to make it cooler. The one I got from Costco lasted years never slipped off my bed and didn't pucker up like a crumpled piece of paper wadded up under my back all night! I paid more at Costco but they'll always take things back! After a month it said it was not eligible for return!

Answer:	Very confortable..no pain nor numbness.

Answer:	It is very soft and squishy would say soft to medium density. Have had 5 months and love only complaint is it does sleep on the warm side and I couldn't find a mattress pad that would allow it to still work it's memory foam magic, but the cover over the foam is high quality.

Answer:	No it does not. It's pretty safe and no chemicals. It will have a faint smell when you first unpacked it but it goes away in a few hours you air it out. Its normal because the product has been seal packed and has not been exposed to air. Bought two toppers for my teenagers, they love, it's still holding up its form.
Question:	Does it need a sheet over it
Answer:	Yes, I place a bottom sheet over the topper and that's a personal preference for me. But, if you do order it, you may prefer it without a sheet.

Answer:	I had 5 level microsurgery on my C Spine 10 years ago. I now have low back pain with sciatica on the left. I have a Select Number bed with a pillow top. My low back and hips had too much pressure on the mattress causing poor sleep, constant changing position and pain. Since I put this on my bed, all of that is better, I sleep well. My mattress is firm but the mattress topper relieves pressure points. I love it. I don't know the density answer, but the 4 inches added makes a huge difference.

Answer:	I just received this topper yesterday 9-1-2020 and it did not have the mattress pad with it. It is still a problem. I posted my problem on Amazon and it was sent to Sleep Innovations. They were very nice and are sending me the cover which I should get next week. I didn't get any product information in the box which was falling apart.

Question:	I bought a new mattress that is causing back pain. Will this help
Answer:	It saved my back. My mattress is too firm, and I thought I was just getting old because my back muscles were knotting up and the lower back muscles were being torn, making me take days off from work to heal up. My knees also have a tendency to hyper-extend, but it never dawned on me that my mattress was making everything worse. It eases all pressure points and I stopped having problems with my body. I had even blamed my new car for having bad seats because my back hurt while driving. It was all due to the bad night sleep. Answer:	I usually hate memory foam because it is hot and smells funny. This mattress topper is comfortable, does conform to my body and does spring back pretty well (when I get up to go to the bathroom, etc.) and overall has helped me to sleep better. And it is NOT hot and has no odor.

Answer:	I’ve had mine about 1.5 years and it’s just like new. I did encase it and my mattress in a waterproof bug proof zip around encasing though so it was never exposed to dust, sweat or anything. It is probably dust and sweat and cellular debris settling into the pores of the foam that reduces its effectiveness over time. Consider a full mattress encasememt type cover that is waterproof and bedbug proof.

Answer:	Forget what the advertising says. I am 6ft, 220lbs and this is extremely soft to the point that you sink in it, sleep crooked all night and wake up in pain. Even my wife, who's been looking for a soft mattress topper, said the same thing and she is 5'8'', 130 lbs. Otherwise quality product and materials but not for us. Would buy from Viscosoft again, just not sure is they make a more firm mattress

Answer:	No, it doesn't come with a cover. Body sweat and body oil break down memory foam rapidly. Purchase a waterproof sheet. You can find them for around 20.00 here on Amazon.
Question:	What density is the memory foam
Answer:	I calculated the density on a twin size (I assume they are all the same) and I get 2.19 density per cubic foot. Seems fairly low imo but they must do some research and decide what density is good ( or best?) for a mattress topper... unless they just make them as less dense as possible and still have a saleable product in order to cut cost.. Can't imagine anyone doing that can we? lol Generally I am seeing foam densities of up to 5lbs per cubic ft as a max for memory foam so 2lbs seems to be on the low side.. I will say I have slept on a memory foam bed that was much denser (how much more I don't know but significantly more) for 6 months and it was noticeably firmer than one of these toppers.. I've been sleeping on one of these 3inch gel infused mem foam toppers for 3 years or so.. Looking to get a new 4inch one so I can use my old one to make a nice dog bed for a 90 lb Pit Bull. She's getting old .. Maybe go to a site that sells high end memory foam mattresses and figure out what density of foam they use in their expensive high end beds for a clue as to what density is really a good number to shoot for.. I would feel ok buying something in the 4 lb range myself.. but that's just a guess..

Answer:	I have never been hotter with a mattress! Sleeping in an old camper in the hot desert would be cooler! You should keep in mind I have had mattress toppers for almost 20 which usually last 5-8 years depending on quality and I sleep with my windows open when it is cold outside and it hasn’t gotten above 70 for months mostly in 40s-50s. This is my 2nd blue lucid since October and my sheets are soaked in sweat by morning and I have a whole in this one now too. My first one took 2 monster for 1 row of the little round holes to connect and rip wide open! It killed my hip before I realized I was sinking into the topper at night! It’s happening again! Please do not buy this!

Question:	Is the 4" good or stomach sleepers? How comfortable is it on the ear in that position
Answer:	I sleep in all positions, including stomach. And my impression is that the body weight is equally supported, including the head. I am 130 lbs and I do not sink all the way down, so at my weight, I still have an inch or so to sink before hitting bottom. As for the ear, I can’t say for sure, but the contact with the memory foam is far softer than even my pillow.
Question:	Can these be used on a hospital bed frame

Question:	I have frbromyalgia, will this work for that
Answer:	I have Fibro as well and these memory foam toppers are the only way I can get any rest. I know we are two different people but being a fellow sufferer I can honestly say I would purchase this item. I have one on every bed, including one on my futon. I'm trying to find memory foam mattress that is more than 4 inches thick without that infernal fire sock. I have lung damage already and cannot be breathing in fiberglass shards. Good luck with your hunt for a decent nights rest. I suggest this or a 4 inch topper. You will rest better!

Answer:	The packaging details did not specify whether the lavender scent was natural or synthetic. I can, however, tell you that both my husband & I have severe allergy & sinus problems but we were not affected by the lavender scent. It is very subtle & not over powering.

The second I opened the package the lavander smell was overbearing, butttt once it got on my mattress and under the sheets I only strongly smelt it for the first night but I slept like a baby. When I got home the next day, my room was filled with the lavander smell and I stayed in there almost all night not wanting to move! So yes at first it will be very strong but the smell goes away. Honestly, my windows have been shut with the air on so if all my windows were open to air out the room, it prob wouldn't be such a strong smell.

Answer:	It’s possible to wear them with sandals as long as the back is closed & not a strap. Otherwise, they might work their way out the back as you walk.

Answer:	I guess it depends on where your tendonitis is located on your foot. Mine have always been on the side and up toward my toes. My work keeps me on my feet nine to ten hours a day. I have always used the Achilles tendon one in my work shoes and in my work boots for farm chores after I get home from a full-time job. I have also had to have a series of shots but after that, the insoles work great. Hope this helps. I am retired now and still wear them everyday.
