Question:	Does this pitcher come with a filter, or do I need to buy the filter seperately
Answer:	I don't recommend using any chemicals but you could try soaking the unit (without the filter) in a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water. Then instead of dumping the water out try setting it on the counter and let the water freely flow from the opening until the smell goes away. May or may not require more than one go. Best of luck!
Question:	Just arrived. i don't see anywhere on the packaging that it is bpa free. how do your know that it is? other than that it says so on amazon
Answer:	I was not able to take mine apart for cleaning. I took the filter out and filled it with hot soapy water. Rinsed it out. Then filled it again with bleach water and rinsed it several times. Kinda disappointed with the design.

Answer:	This information is false, at least in 2019. I just received my black dispenser and it is just as tall as the grey one, not shorter, unfortunately. Which means it's around 10.5 inches tall.

Can this system reduce TDS?

Please note that this Undersink Water Filtration System cannot reduce TDS. Not for hard water.

Answer:	I don't have any problem pouring water into glasses or bowls with the Brita. But there is one thing you need to beware of. The plastic top 'snaps down' in place. Sometimes it can come loose, and then a flood of water will pour out of the top, and over everything. To stop this from happening, I always put pressure on the top with one hand, when I am pouring water.

Answer:	The easy way to get the white part dislodged is this: Remove the filter. Fill the pitcher all the way up with warm water and a dab of dishwashing liquid. Now turn it upside down. The force of the water and gravity will dislodge the white part. The soap adds some extra slip to dislodge things and cleans the pitcher. I might be a 90 pound weakling but I'm still an engineer's daughter.

Answer:	Interesting question, back in the day antennas were how people got TV in their entire houses. Just like cable and satellite you have to connect the antenna to a splitter if you want to connect more than one TV. Or you can do like I did and get a Fire TV RECAST and connect that directly to the antenna and you have TV at every location on your Fire TV stick. You will need an AMPLIFIER to boost the signal to multiple TV’s also.

Question:	What is the shelf life of these replacement filters
Answer:	Thank you for your question. That would be a little too dense for the 508 Personal Rolling Trimmer to cut through. The 508 is a small personal craft trimmer designed for a few sheets of paper per pass. The laminated card stock would either stop the rolling head right in it's tracks, or cause the cutting head to "jump track" and come out of alignment.

Answer:	I (windrider) take back my previous answer. My trimmer only came in inches. I thinking of another trimmer I have that has both metric and imperial measurements.

Answer:	Yes, it can trim them! From my experience (using THIS cutter for 15+ years) cutting delicate items, I use NONpermanent double sided tape and attach the delicate 'ads' to a piece of scrap paper (I use computer paper) lining up the edges. This gives you a way to hang onto the delicate ads/small pieces of paper you want to cut, giving them a straight edge. The scrap paper also gives the cutter something to hold to, rather than the delicate paper going thru alone. I cut delicate (re: old) newspaper, vintage doilies, vintage catalogs/books (early 1900's). If I can be of any more help please feel free to contact me. Answer:	There is a small amount of vertical adjustment. I had to set it on a step ladder to get a level line on wall cabinets. The laser line isn’t very bright. If you’re hanging curtain rods, do it at night. You’ll never see the line in daylight.

Question:	Does the top (white part) remove for cleaning? Does the plastic part that holds the filter remove? Is there a cover for the water fill hole
Answer:	The handle it self is not removable. The filter housing and reservoir, however does remove. I suggest using your 1st finger in the spout of the pitcher and your thumb to grab the reservoir, gently rock back and forth while pulling up. The entire reservoir will remove for easy cleaning. Make sure to take out your filter while washing and to dry your pitcher completely. I also recommend you Do Not Any scouring pads on the pitcher itself, as it will scuff and leave looking cloudy.
Question:	Does tbis pitcher remove heavy metals and flouride
Answer:	Yes! I have a Brita Ultra Dispenser and the long lasting filters are actually manufactured shorter than the 3 month white filters. This leads to the long lasting filters not being able to create a firm seal and they fill up my dispenser in a matter of seconds - even after making sure the filter is aligned correctly several times.

If the canvas is too dense it will not cut through but if it is too thin it could pull when the rolling head goes to slide through. Question:	I have a Ispring ckcic counter top waterfilter. I need a replacement fauset diverter vavle that goes with this model. unable to find it to purchase
Answer:	According to the product description its capacity is "30 sheets." I measured our office paper and that's about 4mm, or about 1/8 of an inch. The description I found of the replacement cutting head for the 440 said that it cuts up to 7 sheets of paper at a time, so it might require 4 passes.
Question:	Does this remove chlorine
Answer:	While there is no guide to show where the blade is going to cut, on the rolling style trimmers it is very easy to see where the cut will be. It is just beyond the clear plastic clamp that the paper slides under. You can roll the cutting head slightly toward your material and see where that exact cut will be.

Installation Step 1

Remove the aerator if the faucet has one, and determine if your faucet has inner threads or outer threads.

Installation Step 2

For faucets with internal threads, use the metal adapter and 2 sealing washers to connect the diverter valve to the faucet. For faucets with external threads, place the sealing washer into the diverter valve of the filter and connect to the faucet.

Installation Step 3

Turn the diverter handle in line with the connector for regular tap water. Turn the diverter handle perpendicular to the connector for filtered water.

Installation Step 4

To flush out the loose carbon, keep the faucet on for a couple of minutes until the filtered water runs clear.
