1) Insert Batteries

Unscrew the cap of the waterproof battery container and remove clip. Insert the three batteries included, and then return to battery container. Press the on/off button to ensure batteries are properly installed. Next, remove the white backing from the rubber pad and stick to battery container mount.

2) Place On Mount

Flip your bicycle upside-down so that your wheels are easy to access.

3) Use Silicone Rings

Loop one silicone ring over the battery container and position it on the side with the button. Place the battery container mount against the center hub of the wheel. Hold it in place as you loop the loose end of the silicone ring over the other side of the battery container.

4) Wrap On Tire

Wrap the string of lights a few times around the closest spoke out towards the rim. Then, snugly wrap lights around every second spoke once.

Question:	I've been using the product well but the headlight mounting stand has been broken. The headlight is fine. Is there any way to subsitute the holder
Answer:	That's a great question as I've also experienced that the straps to NOT last as long as the lights. I am otherwise so pleased with these lights that I have given them to my biking friends as gifts, and I was pleased to see that this seller includes two sets of straps. However, I've been forced to use rubber bands on my own bike. I would also love to be able to purchase replacement straps.

Answer:	I just had mine stop working from getting caught in a storm. Front light got water stuck in it and the system inside corroded.

Answer:	Beware of fake answers. The more expensive version of these by "Cycle Torch" (amazon id B01N2HZV9U) are 20 lumens for front and 10 for rear light. so these must be about same or less bright.

Answer:	I've used them for long rides (STP Seattle to Portland 100 two days in a row) I charged them at night but they never died, so essentially lasted at least 8 hours. I've yet to have them die on me on a ride. I haven't tested the theory of how long they last exactly, but I am incredibly happy with these, they are way better than any other light I've purchased.

Answer:	Having never been near a beach, I have no real idea how big a beach towel is. I am confident a large bath towel would fit inside fine, but I cannot say for sure about a “beach” towel.

Answer:	The blue light is brighter than the red light. Also drunk drivers tend to go towards red flashing lights that is why you see police, fire and ambulances start putting blue lights on the rear of their vehicles.

Answer:	You could, I guess. But I think that would screw up the brakelight function. The sensor is best detecting linear acceleration/deceleration. I think your head movements would be tripping the brakelight all the time. It was charging, so I played with it just now. It would totally be continually tripping the brakelight if worn on the helmet.

Answer:	No. It has a built-in rechargeable battery. According to the specs, the battery life is 4 hours on high and 10 hours on low. The light has 5 different modes. I usually ride in the daytime and only use the strobe mode. I usually recharge it after about 8 hours of use and it has never run out on me.

Answer:	No don’t take off the silicone cover. Plug the charger in the light is green. When you plug in the battery the light will go red until completely charged.
Question:	How many lumens is this light? Is it really 10500 lumens
Answer:	Assuming they use a Cree XML T6 LED, each one puts out a rated 1040 Lumen, so theoretically it would output around 7000 lumen. 10500 is out of the question, but I have a flashlight with 18 T6 LEDs and it will light up the side of a house at 300 feet, so yes, these outputs are realistic.

Answer:	It's definitely not 10,500 lumens. Even 1,500 lumens seems a bit high -- 800 would be a better guess. That said, most of these cheap LED lights overstate their lumen ratings. Many just look at the maximum possible rating for each LED and add them up, even though they don't drive them anywhere near that hard. Now, is 10,500 lumens this a typo or an exaggeration or a flat out lie? I do not know. But consider that HID car lights (perhaps some of the most luminous ones out there) only put out about 3000 lumens/bulb. Either way, it does put out a pretty decent amount of light. The light itself is a bit overly large for a bike light -- you can get ones that are a good deal smaller and put out the same light -- but it's not bad at all. But yeah, never trust the lumen figures they give.
