Make sure your countertop has an existing hole with a diameter between 0.5 to 2.0 inches. Remove the old RO faucet if you have one. Wipe clean and dry the area. Slide the front plate onto the faucet stem, followed by the rubber washer. Insert the stem into the hole on the countertop.

Installation Step 2

Under the sink, slide on the back rubber washer and tight the wing nut. If needed, you may apply a few rounds of plumbers tape to the threads to get a better grip.

Installation Step 3

Slide the push-in fitting up the push-in adapter on the base stem of the faucet and lock it in place by sliding the blue clip under the collet.

Installation Step 4

Insert your water tubing (not included) about 1/2 inch into the push fitting, and secure it with the blue clip. Connect the water and inspect carefully for any leaks.

Can the system reduce TDS?

To come straight to the point, TDS value isn’t directly related to water quality.

TDS stands for total dissolved solids. The higher the TDS is, the more impurities water contains. But what are impurities on earth? No matter beneficial natural minerals or harmful substances, they are all regarded as impurities in water.

As a result, water quality can’t be determined only by TDS value. It is just one of standards that reflect water condition and you can’t conclude that water with low TDS is definitely of good quality.

TDS has more influence on water taste, not overall water quality.

Answer:	PEX is just a supply line. It is an excellent product and would have no affect on using this filter system since all connections are made after the shut off valves under the sink. Now if you choose to put a filter inline and not at the valve, then special PEX brass connectors will be needed along with a PEX tool for installation.
Question:	How often do you need to change the filter
Answer:	Hi dear customer, The filtration capacity for Chlorine is 5000G, and filtration life for LEAD is 1000G, so the filter life can be 1-3 years depend on your daily usage and it can even be 3 years, but we won’t suggest you do the cartridge change that long. As you know the filtration performance is dropping gradually when time goes by, so the longer time you use, the less good water you get. The best time is 1 year or less, the filter cartridge maintenance is much cheaper than the other brands, so it will still save you a lot of money even you change often. Frizzlife suggest no matter what brand of water filtration you will get, do not use that for over 3 years not changing the cartridge, the performance of filtering will be very very low.
