Answer:	Well I think it is an extra part, the whole assembly seems to have extra universal parts. I had to use the old collar because the one that came didn't fit. There were enough usable parts that it works fine. Just put it back together with the same parts that come out. The rubber washer is probably for a faucet adapter you don't have, same as myself and is not needed then.
Question:	Can you adjust the temperature so that the water and dryer do not exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit
Answer:	I wouldn't buy this until you consult with a dishwasher repairman. Some of the parts were broken when it arrived, and the repair guy had to cobble together what I already had with a few of the new parts. It was pretty much worthless. He encouraged me to buy only FA parts.

Answer:	A sink aerator reduces the flow tremendously. I use the coupling device connected to a qwik-connect hose coupling off my balcony to run my pressure washer on the sidewalks, etc. Without the garden hose attached, the flow out of the tap is very strong. It fills my teapot in seconds. The kids must get used to such a strong flow. Splitting the flow in 2 might help but that would be too many attachments onto your faucet.

Answer:	If the washer uses a garden type hose it should work. I put it on a bath tub facet and hooked it to a hose for a shower.

Answer:	When you unscrew the head on your pull out facet, you will discover standard 1/2" "iron pipe" or National Pipe Threads (NPT) on the female fitting that's on the hose. OK, so IF you had a 1/2 inch small snap fitting adapter, you could just screw it into the female fitting, and "VIOLA", you're in business It should be EASY to find one of these, but I'm having HELL finding one... I found one at Home Depot online, but it's been discontinued. I've done several web searches to no avail. I guess I'll continue the search, as there's nothing-else to be done, except to enter "adapter hell" to get the appropriate adapter to make it work.

Question:	Will this fit my Kenmore portable dishwasher? Model
Answer:	I'm sorry I dont understand your question. The threads are on the outside of the adapter and screw into my faucet. I had to remove the original part and replace it with this piece so I could hook up my GE portable dishwasher to my kitchen faucet. The hose from the dishwasher attaches to the outside of this adapter. I hope thats helpful.
Question:	will it allow my snap on hose to snap on faucet? Haier portable

Answer:	No this will not. You will need OEM Part #WD01X10383.
Question:	What material is it made of? Brass with a chrome finish -- or plastic with a chrome finish
Answer:	It has a similar metal screen to a normal faucet tip, so yes, it does aerate the water.

• Step2: Remove the old faucet aerator off in counter clockwise direction.

Answer:	If it's a standard fitting it will work. This adaptor is a good quality, I am pleased with it.

Answer:	I don't know.... It does work for older ( 1980's to early 1990's ) model Whirlpool and Kenmore portable dishwashers. * Maybe a Haier ( 800 # )technical specialist could tell you if your model # ( would cross-reference=coordinate..) as the older Whirlpool/Kenmore snap-on hoses did...
Question:	where do I get a replacement cartridge? Is the cartridge universal with Moen
Answer:	I don't think that this will work without the threads. I had a threaded faucet.
Question:	Is anyone else having the issue of the faucet being wobbly at the base? Was this something that was not tightened properly at the factory
