Question:	How many bumpers on the bottom of the seat
Answer:	Amazon combines the reviews and Q&A from all the models. The plastic one appears to have 4. The wooden one 2 (at least mine did). The Wooden one is the one that actually needs 4. I added 2 extra bumpers but users should be be expected to do that to compensate for the poorly designed wood seat.

Answer:	That's impossible to compute, but if there is one that will handle a heavy person, it's this one.
Question:	Does it come with mounting bolts? If so are they metal
Answer:	yes it comes with mounting bolts and they are stainless steel. This is a very good seat.
Question:	Are the hinges actually metal or are they plastic
Answer:	Don't buy this––it's junk! The "Chrome Hinges" product description is extremely deceptive! Inside the metal hinges, the internal pin they pivot on is made of cheap, soft plastic. (See a customer pic below--plastic shows between the metal knuckles of hinges.) The plastic pins warp & deform easily, making the hinges so loose the seat slides side-to-side. This pulls the screws out of the wood, and the hinges will eventually fall apart. There's no way to repair this, or replace the cheap plastic pin (at least without a machine shop). They should've used metal pins (for just a few cents more) instead of hiding this defective weak link! Shady and shoddy. The seat is designed to last a few months, just long enough that you can't return it. Mayfair and Topseat brands both have this defect inside their "metal" hinges, and we should boycott this.

Answer:	We have the round model, liked it so much after a year we ended up buying 'em for the whole house. As for your question, the lid itself is not terribly strong/heavy, although not a cheap weight either. My kids and I can sit on it with no issues, but now that you've asked the question I do feel a little bowing from the lid and I'm fairly small. That being said, the lower seat portion is very strong and the slow close (for seat and lid) have been terrific. My kids can't slam the lid if their lives depended on it =)

Question:	Does the length dimension include the hinge or is it the seat only? What is the center to center dimension for the mounting holes
Answer:	I think so. This new version (I have both; the new one has a durable molded "hook" and the older one has a webbing strap) would most probably fit over a 1 1/4 inch bar. I have mine (the molded "plastic" hook version) over a bar that is 1 1/16 inch and there seems to be some room for it to flex to fit and fit around a 1 1/4 inch bar.
Question:	What kind of bumpers(the little rubber or plastic things that hold the seat up from the toilet and the lid from the seat)does it have? Solid
Answer:	They have never snapped unexpectedly, only after you can physically see signs of wear and tear. I use these at my commercial gym, I change mine out every 3 years. Over time the rubber begins to fray that's when you know they need to be changed before they snap.

Answer:	I don't think so. I am 6' 245 lbs. I cannot do a pull up at all so I ordered this to help me. When I put my foot in the stirrup and pull (using the 3 red bands that came with it) I can get about 1/3 of the way up before the tension lightens. I ordered a second one for the other foot. I know I have a lot of work to do but don't think that for us big, middle-age guys that 3 red bands will get your chin to the bar. I going to try 6 bands. :)I noticed that 3 red bands does not lift 100 lbs. I hung this thing from a pull up bar and put a 50 lb dumbbell through the stirrup. It sagged all the way to the floor. I received a second unit in the mail and now have a total of 6 red bands to assist me. This is what I needed to do a pull up.

As for the "ring", if you are referring to the dobby border near the ends of the towels , they will not shrink! We use mercerized/pre-shunk yarns on these borders to prevent the shrinkage. Organic is often considered a subset of Oeko-tex because Organic cotton generally only refers to the cotton. The washcloths and towels looked like old fashioned window curtains, pulled in at the waist! What a rip off that was! The best va.ue I’ve seen in thick, soft and lasting towels are from Costco. Certainly no shrinking going on!

Answer:	I use mine as a decorative/light weight throw on a porch swing...it is thin but cozy! They do dry quicker (either method) than regular thick cotton towels. I cannot comment as absorbancy, but I use other Peshtemal Towels for bathroom hand towels and for drying dishes... they are sufficiently absorbent, despite their thinness. I like that they are versatile and don't take up as much storage space as more common thick cotton towels .
