Question:	What does this smell like
Answer:	Really not much of a smell at all. I tried this once but found that it did not remove the stain to my satisfaction. You may think the stain is gone but if you wait until the carpet is dry, and with a UV flashlight walk around in a darkened room at night you'll see every spot illuminates brightly. telling you the stain is still there. I use "Capture Pet Stain and Odor Neutralizer". and even then it may take several applications with a shampooer for the stain to be completely gone. Urine is hard to remove from carpet, and the only way to truly tell if its still in your carpet is to walk around in a darkened room and illuminate the area with a UV flashlight. Amazon sells them for around ten to fifteen dollars and are a must have if have pets. Good luck and if you find something better please let me know. I've tried at least a half dozen brands and the Capture is the best.

Question:	how does this do on cat urine
Answer:	I'm not sure specifically on cat urine as my cat didn't use the carpet as a potty. But, there was a large spot from the previous homeowner's dog that it did a great job on. I did have to go over it twice (probably because I needed to make sure there was no return of the awful smell). I was quite surprised at how well this cleaning solution worked.
Question:	How much square footage or rooms will this clean
Answer:	We cleaned 3 bedrooms, living room, hallway, stairway, family room and the kids playroom. Used about half the bottle.
Question:	Is this safe to use with the Hoover Power Scrub. Its currently cheaper than the 2x Pet plus and seems to get slightly better reviews
Answer:	Yes it is, and of course it's made by Hoover so it's definitely good in any of their machines. To be honest with you, I bought 2 bottles of this when I bought my Power Scrub, it works. How much better than others? I can't really say at the moment because our previous machines had the rotating bar with brushes rather than the circular spinning brushes like the Power Scrub. The Power Scrub cleans better because of that feature, so almost any good carpet cleaner should do well in this machine. My biggest disappointment is after you use Platinum Collection Pet cleaner, your carpets don't have a really clean smell. The sample cleaner that came with the Power Scrub left the room smelling clean. If you have pets and pet accidents, sometimes a bit of odor control is helpful, and if you just cleaned a room or the whole house it would be nice if the rooms smelled like they were just cleaned after all your work. Maybe you could add a scent of your own, but for that reason I didn't care for it. We have 4 dogs of our own and also do rescue and fostering. We did recently have a urine accident. We cleaned it 3 times and could still smell it. We figured out that it was from the cat and not the dogs and cleaned it using vinegar, that took care of the problem.
