Question:	Is the seat flat or does it slope inwards
Answer:	Same thing happened to mine!! The lights also don't work and the water BARELY trickles out now....

Answer:	On the back of the unit, there is a small cover the size of a quarter held by 2 screws. You may need a small pocket knife or flat head screw driver to remove the cover. It has a rubber ring to seal it to keep out water. Once uncovered, you will see a small red switch box that has 2 switches. Move the #2 switch (or right side) to the on (or up) position and this will change from C to F.Good Luck!
Question:	Is the *bottom* of the seat flat? I have to add custom bumpers so it needs to be flat
Answer:	You have to select the rainfall shower or the body jet or the hand shower. So, no, teh rainfall shower and the body jets cannot be used at the same time. And yes, the rainfall shower head is tiltable.
Question:	What is the length of the seat? The specs say 21x15.1x 2.4 inches, but most elongated seats are 18-18.5 inches, like Bemis 19601CP images show
Answer:	The SP787392B has a black glass panel and the SPA392M has an aluminun alloy "silver" metal finish on the back panel. All of the shower features are the same on both. It's just the color of the back panels.

Answer:	Since I ordered Dresden Blue toilet seat, I'm sorry that I cannot offer a reliable answer regarding the difference between bone and almond on this product. In my experience with other decorating, bone is close to white, and almond is much more creamy/yellowish. Hope this helps.

Answer:	The seat is 1 1/4 " thick. The opening is 12" X 8" at the widest points. You do not see any screws with the seat up or down. Nice sturdy seat... I have already purchased one for another bathroom.

Answer:	The throne seat and lid is manufacture from high density composite wood (HD) with enamel finish. I weigh round 240 after dumpage occurs. Being a trained professional I can report the the lid holds up well when stinging on it to reach dust bunnies located at the corners of the ceiling. Answer:	I have the same issue. And I can't tighten it any further because there's not enough room for the wrench to lay flat, so I have to tighten it by hand. So the seat doesn't go all the way back because it's blocked by the screws.

Harsh chemicals can rub away the paint finish on toilet seats and the metal finish on hinges. This can create a dirty worn-away look on molded wood seats as well as corrosion and peeling of the metal hinge finish. Question:	Can I just get the hardware and non t the seat somewhere ? I have this exact toilet seat and they are fine but the hardware is seized up
Answer:	No. The company only sells complete units and not parts. Use caution when cleaning around the hinges. Do not spray with cleaning fluid. Apply cleaner to a paper towel and wipe the hinge, or the hinge will corrode from being sprayed with cleaner even though you wipe the surface of the hinge dry.
Question:	Will this seat slide side to side or stay put if you shift your wright
Answer:	ALL I CAN SAY IS FROM OUR EXPERIENCE THIS IS A VERY STABLE SEAT, WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT.
Question:	How heavy or substantial is this toilet seat? I'm looking for one that is sturdy, durable, and can support weight, look nice & easy to clean
Answer:	This is a heavy material about 1/2 inch thick. It has an eggshell texture, not the smoothness of a piece of plastic. It is very sturdy and after 4 years, the rubber bumpers under the seat have yet to show signs of wear. After looking at my local hardware stores and building supply stores at as many as available, this seemed to be the best. Should either of the two I have need replacement, I would definitely buy these again.
Question:	Are the hinges made from metal:if so what kind, or a plastic type of material painted to look like chrome
Answer:	We have two of these and the hinges are made of metal. I don't know what type of metal, but we have a family member that weights close to 350 pounds and neither of these have broken or come loose. She uses both on a daily basis. I'm not sure what type of metal these are made of, but it must be pretty strong as we have had these for a year or more now. The two bolts that hold this to the toilet bowl are made of some sort of hard plastic. They screw in and hold a metal piece that you have to line up when you tighten this down. The fact that these are so easily removed is great for cleaning. The first one I purchased was from Amazon and it is not the slow closing type. I'm pretty sure the metal is the same, just a different model. The second one I got at "the Blue and White" hardware store and it is a little different than the Amazon one. Basically the same, it just was harder to install for some reason. The main reason was that it had the wrong hardware. These also say to clean them with soap and water, but we have a housekeeper and she wipes them down with those Clorox wipes, then with a clean damp rag. Hasn't seemed to harm the color or finish in anyway. I've read a few reviews that people have had the seat spit as a result of them slamming shut. But since this is a slow close model, it should not be an issue. We replaced two of our toilets with the TOTO "Drake" model toilets and I have to say I hate them. The tank lid dosent even seem to fit them correctly and I wish we had gone with our gut feeling and bought the Kohler model we originally planned to purchase. The tank lid just sits on th top and doesn't overlap the tank or have any type of system to keep the lids from moving back. It looks like the design is suppose to create a smooth look to the tank. It's a pain to keep these from moving. It's almost like the lids are not made for the toilet, but it was a boxed deal, so I am assuming that this is how these are designed. It also isn't completely fired on the lower edge which shows when the lid has shifted. I'm constantly having to move the lids back into place. I'm considering caulking these down to keep them in place and eliminating me from constantly having to fix the tank lids. These where bought at a well known plumbing company with a showroom and the only reason we decided to buy them in the first place was that we have a friend who knows the owner. I can see that these will be replaced in the near future with the Kohler model we initially considered buying.The TOTO model came with a slow close seat and it's very uncomfortable. It's made of plastic completely and they scratch very easily. After about three months time, they started having side to side movement. This was due to the poor seat design, not the lack of tightness to the bowl. If you are using this on a TOTO model, it will hang over the front edge just a little. This is only noticeable if you are looking at the seat from the floor level, which no one should be doing anyway. If I had to replace one of these seats for any reason, I would not hesitate to buy this one again. However, I would without a doubt buy the Kohler toilet instead.Hope this has helped you and not overwhelmed you with information. But the hinges are metal.

Answer:	I am not positive. These screws are different & break off after being tightened so they won’t loosen. There’s no room to wiggle around once tightened

Answer:	I think because there are only two types - round & elongated.
Question:	how many inches is it raised
Answer:	They are both nice one is just a little lighter then the other.

Answer:	The difference is that round seats are just that - round. Elongated seats are oval-shaped for a different shaped toilet bowl.

Answer:	I purchased the cotton white. I have not seen the "white" but the cotton white isn't a pure white, just off a shade or two. It's still white just not as striking as pure white. Hope this helps

Question:	What are the dimensions of the seat
Answer:	15" length (from front to back not including the tabs) and 14" width.
Question:	How large is the "hole"?? I presumed they are all standard, but the one I have now is smaller that before
Answer:	Seat is 14 1/4 by 15 1/2. Hole is 8 1/4 by 10 1/4. Overall length fr the hinge holes to the front is 17". Hope I didn't give you more than you ask for.
Question:	Will this fit a 16.6" X 14" round toilet
Answer:	It fits the 14" wide but may be shy on the 16.6" , unless your measurement is from the screw holes to the front of the toilet. Then it would be fine. My toilet is standard round, like most are unless you have a more commercial style one to fit it on.
Question:	How to I install the seat
Answer:	Pretty much similar to the other responses. 1. Remove the old seat 2. Put the bolts through the holes (I found that it helped test screwing the the bolts and nuts to clean out any leftover plastic shavings from the factory) 3. Attach the nuts with the round/flatish side to the floor. Hold the wing nut and screw the bolt from the top. 4. I found that I had to tighten them pretty good to keep the seat from shifting around when the toilet is being used. It's a 'crapshoot' because you don't want to break the plastic bolt. 5. Place the seat over the bolts in the upright position and tighten the quick fasteners. 6. Pray to your god that it lasts for at least one year.

Answer:	well lets see I guess it wieghed about 2 lbs and the lob fir the toilet seal but rectangular. This is a very nice toilet seat!!

Answer:	Yes the base is solid wood. The vinyl is very thin and doesn't last. It developed a crease that turned into an slit. I hand to replace it in a matter of months. I would not purchase again.
