Answer:	No such thing as to thick for drilling. Depends on your drill bit, some cutting oil, and your determination
Question:	How much weight can safely be placed on this shelf? Peg board is secured to 2x4 studs
Answer:	I looked for spec's in the paperwork I have and did not see a weight limit. So I went out to the garage and put a 25 lb dumbbell on it. it's still attached so Im going to say at least 25 lb. I also have the wall control peg board mounted to the studs with 2" deck screws, just keep in mind that it only works with the wall control system as it wont fit in a standard round hole peg board.

Question:	So the intended installation is 32 inches high by 48 inches wide? One reviewer said they can't be turned because the pegs will not work
Answer:	Correct. If you are going to use the Wall Control hooks and accessories, they go into special vertical slots, so each of the three 32" (tall) by 16" (wide) panels must be installed in the correct orientation. The panels still have the standard pegboard holes as well, which would of course work with standard pegs no matter the panel orientation.On the Wall Control website, they do sell panels in sizes and shapes other than the 32" x 16" sizes that come with most of the kits.
Question:	What is the recommended space to leave behind the pegboard for insertion of the hangers
Answer:	You do not need to leave any space. The way the pegboard is designed, it is already offset from the wall with any distance for the hangers to be hung without damaging your wall. This is the easiest pegboard system I have ever used. We got the white one to use in our kitchen for pots and pans a la Julia Child - it works great and looks awesome. All of our friends have admired it.

Answer:	it came with 15-25 hooks of different sizes, metal tray 3 parts bins, screw driver holder, I bought extra hooks and didn't need them. this did not cone with any tools

Answer:	Mine came with screws for wall mounting. It also has the option to be hung on pegboard, though my item had a broken pin so I had to wall mount it.

Answer:	The pegboard is the holding unit, it supports the weight of the items hung .As far as spacing it depends on the size of the unit to be hung .don't be afraid to space these close together .for extra support.

Question:	Can you buy just the shelf anywhere
Answer:	I'm not sure about the availability of each separately as I've. It search but, they are very lightweight so I wouldn't plan on using them for something heavy; small aerosol cans, liquids, grease tubes, etc. are ok, but I don't feel these will last very long regardless.
Question:	Do these work on slat wall
Answer:	As designed, they are intended to be used on pegboard. They do provide for modifications that would allow them to be screwed into a slat wall.
Question:	How deep are the shelves? Packaging says 7", but pictures make the shelves look much more narrow than that.. are they more like 4 or 5 inches
Answer:	3-4" deep and around 7-10" long. They are not usefull for anything but very small items. They are well made though.
Question:	Do they work on 1/4 or 1/8 pegboard or both
Answer:	the hooks will work properly on either pegboard, but there are two holes on each side of all three shelves in case you want to screw it into the board for extra security. Those holes appear to only work for 1/8", but 1/4" can be drilled in pretty easily.
