Answer:	The wheels work amazingly well in my situation . My chair is used on a plain concrete floor . I'm not sure how easily they would rotate/swivel on a carpet type surface.
Question:	How much weight can these support
Answer:	The wheels rotate independently of one another. On a hard surface they will easily align in the direction of movement. This is not the case for softer surfaces like carpet as the wheel will sink in to the surface and prevent it from rotating.

Answer:	I would say that it is a medium thickness. Definitely thick enough for a home office. We're very pleased with the matt.
