Question:	Are these made in China
Answer:	If you have ceramic tile you probably have grout between the tiles not caulk. Grout is very hard so pushing these through wouldn’t be easy without drilling. You also probably have cement backboard under the tile which also would require a drill. So, overall, I’d say they won’t work unless you still a hole

Answer:	The hooks are small but if you place them away from outlets you shouldn’t have any problems but if you aren’t sure, get with a maintenance man or electrician to make sure no wires are in the area you are wanting to place them

Answer:	No. You hang the frame exactly the same way you would hang it if you put a nail in the wall and hung it from the nail. The difference is that instead of the nail, you push the hook all the way into the wall, then rotate the little hook end halfway around. This puts the small hook side in a position where you just hang the frame wire on that hook. Try it in an inconspicuous place and I think you'll see immediately how it works.

Answer:	I don't think so unless you can find the vertical stud where it meets meets a horizontal stud. I had to add 2 pieces of 2X4's to the exposed vertical stud. The mounting bracket holes are too wide to screw into one 2X4.

Answer:	Without a clear understanding of how you plan to use this hanger, the hooks are designed to handle a wide variety of top tube dimensions. Each hook is 2" wide x 1-3/4" deep. I see no reason a 1-3/4 dowel would not rest comfortably across the two hooks.

Question:	I need to hang a mirror. while it is within the total allotted weight (under the 100 lbs), the hooks are on each side of the mirror. is it ok
Answer:	It is okay from the hanging and weight support perspective. The only issue will be the width of the frame so this hook doesn't show once it is hung. The 100 lb wall hanger is 1 3/8 inch wide at the top to hold the three nails. So the hook on your frame needs to be at least 5/8 inch inside the frame edge to not show the hook in the wall behind the frame. Most likely your frame is wide enough that this will be okay, but just realize this is a wide hook.
Question:	I have a 70 lbs mirror and I need to know if is going to be safe to hang on dry wall, I feel like that the dry wall will brake

Question:	Do they work on plaster and lathe walls, or only on drywall/sheetrock
Answer:	Yes, but a hole would need to be drilled through first. You would need a drill bit 1/16 or less. Need to get behind the lathe or mesh.
Question:	I am unclear how much weight each of these three hooks will support. Please clarify
Answer:	I have had a large epoxy covered art piece hanging for 10 years and it has not budged. It has to weigh 25+ pounds. I used 3 hooks I believe. I just hung a 2 pound box frame with a traditional picture hanging hook you find in those little boxes at hardware or dollar stores and it fell off the wall AND damaged the wall.
Question:	After a picture has been hung for awhile (say 1-2 years), is there further damage to the wall? Does the original hole get larger
Answer:	I'm sure it depends on the condition of the wall and what you're hanging on that wall (depends). My experience is that my large living room pictures have had no damage but what I hung in the bathroom (2 way mirror) seems to have gotten worse over the last couple of years.
Question:	Do these work to hang drapes in place of drywall screw and anchors
Answer:	No. They will hold something that only applies downward force, such as a picture. Drapery generally experience lateral forces as they are opened and closed, and would most likely shift. A good rule of thumb is to only use monkey hooks for something that could hang off of a hook.

Question:	Will they work on cinder block walls
Answer:	No. This will not work in cinder block walls. There are other hangers made just for cinder block - search for "picture hanger cinder block"
Question:	Do these work if you use them on drywall
Answer:	Yes! Works well as a drywall picture hanger or plaster hanger. The nail leaves a smaller hole than most hangers and is re-usable. Easiest to remove by gently twisting the nail head with a pair of pliers.
Question:	I have lath and plaster over brick. Will these hooks work on this wall
Answer:	If the lath and plaster is an inch thick then they would probably work, however, the nail will not penetrate brick. If the nail end hits brick it would most likely bend. Thanks.
Question:	Can I hang a heavier picture if I place the wire behind the picture on two of these, 18 inches apart
Answer:	Yes you can, but I wouldn't go over 50 pounds. If you go over that weight, you should move up to a hook with a larger weight rating. When using two hooks they should be spaced apart on the wall at a distance approximately one-third the width of the picture being hung. Thanks
