Answer:	Yes but it be easier,cheaper and take less material to fill part of the void with material similar to what you are repairing. If repairing wood, shape a piece of wood and then fill.

Answer:	I heated the product to 130°F. This made it easier to mix. I also heated the project area with an infra-red lamp. This made it easier to apply and slowed the curing rate. I'm filling a hole in the floor of an unheated, enclosed porch/utility room. It's winter here. Outside temperatures will remain above freezing for the next fifteen hours, so I'll leave the heat on to keep it curing at a moderate rate. It's barely pliable after two hours, so I think the repair will be satisfactory.
Question:	How far apart are the mounting holes
Answer:	Depends on which item you are looking at. If it says 48 oz then yes two cans at 48oz each. I personally ordered the 96oz option with cans at 96oz each.
Question:	Does it have to be used as a locking box
Answer:	I've tried that with oil based stain and it didn't work very well. The only way I've found is to sand it with rough paper then reapply until the color is close. I've not been able to completely match though so I wouldn't expect perfection unless you are much more patient than me.

Question:	Does it keep mail from getting wet when it rains? I've got wet mail from other locking mailboxes
Answer:	It is designed to keep your mail dry and has passed all USPS standards for this element. In the real world I would angle the mailbox angled slightly forward on the front so water drips off the front instead of dripping in the box. We include a plastic floor liner to keep the mail off the actual metal bottom. This aids in keeping water off the mail if water does get in the bottom of the box...this helps when conditions are sideways blowing rain.
Question:	How do you deal with out going mail
Answer:	If you choose to use your mailbox for outgoing mail there is a spring steel clip inside the top door to hold the mail for the mail person. Pulling up the mail flag indicates to the mail person that you have outgoing mail. But please keep in mind that this flag also indicates to mail thieves you have outgoing mail as well. We recommend not doing this and dropping your outgoing mail in a USPS blue box because there is no way to have secure outgoing mail in an individual locking box that also accepts incoming mail.
Question:	Are all of the keys the same? Could a thief order one and then unlock any other one
Answer:	We have a total of 1,500 unique keys out there for just our mailboxes. 1,000 unique keys are still in production. So the odds of somebody having your key are at least 1/1000. Additionally these are 12 disc wafer locks...good luck picking them...way too much time involved.
Question:	Does it comes with the mounting hardware and post
Answer:	It comes with a drill bit and 1.5" lag bolts to mount the box to wood. It does not come with a post but if you order a Mail Boss post, the post comes with the hardware to mount the Mail Boss mailbox to the post.

Question:	Does this mailbox have keys
Answer:	It came with 2 keys. Remember when hanging the box, make sure it's at the correct level for your height. I'm 5'3" and the handyman hung the box too high. He was 6 feet, so I have to stand on tiptoes to make sure small letters aren't on the bottom of mailbox. So far, I like product. The color has been able to stay black, even though it get's really HOT afternoon sun in Arizona.
Question:	how does it lock
Answer:	There is an outter lid and an inner lid. The inner lid is the one that has the lock. The top/outter lid lifts up revealing the inner lid which has a slot for your mail to be place into. Personally, I don't use the locking lid because I get too many larger/bulky items that would not fit through the slim mail slot. If you are concerned about that, I would recommend finding another mail box that locks differently. I wanted to use the locking feature, but when I got the mailbox, I found out the slot was too narrow. It is fine if you just have letters and magazines sent to you. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I would not consider it waterproof. The lid is easily blow up by the wind and nothing is sealed that tightly. We never have an issue, but ours is installed under a porch awning.
