| Answer: | I didn't use this on regular clean grout (a spray might be more effective for traditional sealing?). I used the sister product (refresh) that essentially put a white coating over all of the grout. I think this sealant is meant to be used in conjunction with it. That being said, using the two together made my countertop look brand new. I used it on a white tile/white grout kitchen counter before putting my house on the market. I'm not sure how durable the coating turned out to be, but it was great for the 2 or 3 months before my house sold. Good luck! |

If the center of the hole is more than 13/16 (20mm) from the edge the pin will not engage. The depth on the lock would be too shallow. Many times latches are poorly manufactured and the holes are carelessly placed off center, thus creating fitment issues. You can modify the hasp if you are inclined.

| Answer: | It will but I'm not sure as to what difficulty. I was told that 3M's "general purpose adhesive remover" makes removal easy and without damage to the mating surface but I haven't tried it. The adhesive pads are thin which puts the lock pads close to the mating surface so trying to pry the locks off without damage to the mating surface could prove to be difficult. Applying 3M's product is supposed to make the pads loose enough to pull off after about 10 minutes. Good luck. |

| Answer: | First of all this is the 3 inch model. (I have the 4 inch model.) The measurements, converted from mm (millimeters) is as follows. the piece that has the loop on it that goes through the hasp is 1 7/8 inch wide and 1 1/2 inch long. That piece is the same size for all 3 hasps. Now the 3 inch hasp is as follows: The section with the 3 holes is 1 1/2 inches across the bottom (under the single hole) and 1 inch from the bottom up to but not including the hinge. The long part including the hinge is approximately 3 1/4 inches. The 4 inch model has the same dimensions for the piece with the loop ( 1 7/8 inches by 1 1/2 inches). The hasp section is as follows: the bottom part where the holes are is 1 1/2 across the bottom and 1 1/4 inch from the bottom to the hinge. | Answer: | Carriage bolts would go through the six holes you see in the plates in the picture. To get the mechanism off, thieves would have to grind the heads off of the carriage bolts. At that point the whole lock system would be easy to pry off. You could use construction adhesive or something of the sort on the back of the plates when you mount them to make them harder to remove. If it's a metal shed, you could weld the plates directly to the outside of the building. That would take this system to the next level. If you're so inclined, you could also weld the carriage bolts to the metal plates when you're installing it. Regardless, carriage bolts alone will result in grinding being necessary to get past this lock. |
