In fact, our founder is very sensitive to dairy so he wanted to choose a protein source that was very digestible to consumers with dairy sensitivities.
Question:	Could someone comment on the expiration date of the boxes they've received
Answer:	The box I just received was "Best by July 2019" which is 10 months from now. However, the oil had separated out and they were tougher to chew than jerky. Second time this has happened with Amazon fulfillment of Rise Bars.
Question:	i ordered 2 boxes of these recently (we order them very frequently) and this time the bars are hard as rocks and almost taste stale. Please advise
Answer:	these bars are best if kept at or above room temperature...otherwise they can become harder to chew. i had that problem a lot this winter being it's been so cold (even inside!). usually sticking them in my pocket 'warmed' them up to make them softer.

Answer:	I too have dental issues. These are easy to chew and if they are not too cold the little chocolaty pieces will not be too hard. I say leave them out for a while to warm up if you have dental issues or even consider dunking quickly in a hot beverage.
