Question:	Can i use with a window based computer or does it have to be a MAC
Answer:	We just got out of a Cricut class tonight, 10/14/2019) at a local Michaels. We (my wife and I) both downloaded the DesignSpace software in class from the Cricut website to our Windows 10 laptops and after downloading a small Windows add-in, were able to launch DesignSpace, create and cut projects successfully from out laptops. We also had out Apple iPads and downloaded the Apple Store DesignSpace app and had no problem using them to design and cut. Can’t speak about the Mac though...
Question:	I am looking to get my first Cricut machine. Will the faster speed matter or should I save some money and get the previous version to learn on
Answer:	The only difference between the air1 and air2 is the speed of the cut and the color options for the machines. I have the air2 and I honestly haven't even tried the faster cutting option because I've been cutting really delicate things and I was afraid that it would rip the material at a faster speed. I guess this question depends on how much you would use it and for what. I don't, by any means, think the air1 is "slow".

Answer:	Through personal experience, the Cricut Design Space software let’s you upload svg files, but not ai or eps. The best advice for cutting images from Illustrator is to use a USCutter instead, it uses a software called Sure Cuts A Lot and works with alot of file types (ai, eps, svg)

Answer:	No you cannot trade them in to my knowledge. I put mine cartridges in my recycle bin since my community recycles.
Question:	What is NOT in this bundle that would be good to buy along side with it as a gift
Answer:	They have different cartridges for different machines. Some will laminate. I just use mine for making stickers so it's just sticky on one side. It's also a great way to make cheap glitter paper. Just sprinkle on the sticky side and then run it back through again on the other side.
Question:	How do you obtain the digital content? There was nothing in the packet giving access to this
Answer:	Watch the videos for both the 500 and the 510, which are located with the various picture angles of these products, on the left.The 500 is simply a sticker maker, with permanent and re-postionalbe adhesive refill options.The 510 does the same, except has the ability to do more, with a variety of refills. Answer:	tool set, other different blades, pens, scoring tool. There are a lot of accessories you can buy, but these are the ones I need to make the cards I want to.

Answer:	If you upload your own pattern (pieced together before upload to design space), and it's under 12x24, yes. So it would work for a bodice with princess seams, a gored/sectioned skirt that's under 24", cap or short sleeves, and various other smaller apparel pieces. So it wouldn't take all cutting out of the picture, but you'll get more done in the time you take since you'll be cutting multiple pieces at once. But unless they come out with longer mats, it's unlikely that it could cut pants, though shorts could be feasible.
Question:	Can it cut patterns for adult clothes like pants, skirts, blouse, shirts, etc
Answer:	Yes - I have used it in my Big Shot. However... Be sure that your cutting pads are newer (and flat) otherwise the magnetic pull isn't as strong. I used this product for my Christmas cards and after experiencing the problem above, purchased The Genius Platform system. It was wonderful, didn't cut into the cutting pads and had no issues with the magnetic platform. I would recommend this product over the Sizzix one.

Answer:	NO. The blade that is "listed" as a fine point blade is not actually one. It is the OLD replacement blade. Please do not listen to the other replies. I work for Cricut. The regular (not deep blade) on this page is NOT for newer machines. They are for the older machines. You can use them but they will cut too deep. If you cut vinyl it will cut into the backing. Please use the german carbide blades (or the real fine point blade). The deep cut blade and housing on this page is ONLY for the Explore and Maker machines.

Answer:	It has the suction. And good suction too! Very helpful when doing any embossing or dies.

Answer:	recycled aluminum cans can be used with the die cut for cuttlebug. Felt, foam, velvet and cardboard can be embossed with the embossing folders.
Question:	is the Cuttlebug suitible for the beginner
Answer:	Yes, it is very easy to use! I borrowed my friend's Cuttlebug and was so impressed that I immediately purchased one for myself after just one use!
Question:	what is cuttlebug? what does it do
Answer:	It's a little machine, that doesn't use electric, batteries, etc. You put paper through it and it embosses it. There are a lot of different plates with different designs on them that you put around your paper. When you put it through the Cuttlebug, it comes out with the design on it. I like making my own cards and this machine helps me create different designs. When I shopped around for one, I found it to do a lot and the cheapest price. I love my Cuddlebug. I bought mine from Amazon and it was cheaper than I could purchase it at any of the craft stores around me, even when they were on sale. I hope I was able to help you understand some. It is so easy to use. I watch at my local craft stores for the plates to go on sales, some I paid $1.00 for them, others (depends on what you want) if not on sale cost up to $3.00 each. It's a hobby and love for it.

Answer:	Longer plates won't matter, it's the width that counts.
Question:	I want to create quilt applique's. How many layers of fabric can be cut at once so that I can have as many applique's cut at once
Answer:	I don't know that machine, but if the opening is 6-1/8" it should be okay. Be sure to see Spellbinders' instruction video on-line for how to add shims!
Question:	Is this the newest model? Does it also cut wood
Answer:	You can use regular dies with this machine, but you'll have to figure out what sandwich will work best for the die.
Question:	What kind of connector do you get to use cartridges with this
Answer:	You can use hard dies with this one. It's not a laminator. It heats up, you lay your die down and then your card stock. After heating the foil adheres to the die by running it through your die cutting machine. It will not cut out the die but leaves the foiling where the die meets the cardstock. Hope this helps.

Answer:	i am not sure i really understand what you want it to do but the cricut only cuts out images that are on the cartridges you buy. I have cut images out and then run them through a sticker making machine to use in scrapbooking. hope this helps

Answer:	I have the cricut expression 1 (I guess---looks like the picture for the 1). I really like it and it is very versatile. Don't know anyone with a 2. I'm sure it is fine. My #1 cost $169 last March so the current price seems like a lot of money . . . food for thought.
