Answer:	Yes... lever/handle and Deadbolt.. I love these Kwikset Smartkeys, BUT I learned that you HAVE to be VERY CAREFUL and SLOW when setting the locks, cause unless you do EXACTLY the steps and the RIGHT DIRECTION to turn the key, you can mess it up!
Question:	does it have an option for extended 5-in Deadlatch
Answer:	do not know
Question:	Does this set include the levers for both the inside and outside of the door? Or is an interior trim kit needed
Answer:	Everything you need is included. Even their phone number. So when it breaks or looses its programming you can call and get your warranty exchange. I had 2 of 2 break in less than 1 year! Buy a different brand, or just change them again in a few months.
Question:	Just want to be sure, the handle is reversible, correct? For either left or right-side
Answer:	Yes. Some of the other answers are incorrect. You can install this on a left-opening or right-opening door. The handle should curve downwards at the end, and so you need to remove both handles (inside and outside) and swap them in order to get the handles to curve in the right direction, downwards. When I first installed one, I didn't realize this and after a week of the handle curving upwards and not matching the front door, I removed the lock and swapped the handle shells inside-to-outside. That fixed it. I'm less sure if you can control the orientation of the key - ragged edge up vs down. I care far less about that.

Answer:	It is hard plastic. I ended up ordering felt as these scratched the floor. We do live in an area with sand and I think the scratches were a combination of sand between the floor and plastic. Felt works great!

Answer:	I have put them under very heavy pieces of furniture and have been able to move them myself. I can't see why they wouldn't work if you put them under the corners of the aquarium just like I did under a dresser...

Answer:	I don’t think the felt ones would be good on cement. I used the plastic sided ones in my garage while refinishing a bureau. It was helpful moving it outside when I redid it. The sleds were scratched but held up.

Answer:	I don't know, my door width was 1.75 in. This is a lock set and deadbolt.

Answer:	The deadbolt model 980 (this one) is a single cylinder, which means it's a key on the outside, but not the inside. The combo is marked as Juno 991 to mark this. The deadbolt model 985, (not this one) is a double cylinder which means it's a key on both sides. The combo with the double cylinder is the Juno 992.
Question:	Can you lock the knob from the inside without using a key
Answer:	Yes. The knob, on the inside, has a button like thing that you turn to lock. On your way out just turn that button to the locked position and close the door.

Answer:	The Kwikset 99130-002 SmartCode 913 does not have Alexa built in and since it is a Z-Wave protocol device, it will not work with any of the hub-enabled Echo devices. However, if you get a Z-Wave compatible hub, such as Samsung Smartthings hub, you can incorporate that into your network (pretty easy), then you can tell (or ask) Alexa to lock the door. I hope this helps.
Question:	can this be put on outside side door, it will be in the weather
Answer:	That is probably best asked of Kwikset who can be reached at their website. My opinion is that if it can be subjected directly to moisture (rain, snow) and extreme temperatures that would be a problem since the keypad is on the outside. The main electronics are in the inside unit and would thereby be protected. I have one installed on my front door but it is protected by a storm door and roof over the front stoop. If practical the installation of a storm door would probably give it the necessary protection.
Question:	Is there a version of this that does not have the thumb turn inside? I don't want someone to break my window and reach inside for the thumb turn
Answer:	You should add window film to the inside of the window that will prevent thieves from being able to break the window.

Answer:	Unfortunately no.. I had to return the August smart Lock back. It locks awesome.. but the low profile cancels out the use of the smart lock.

Answer:	With the smart key system you can rekey all four to the same key yourself. Takes about twenty seconds per lock once you figure it out. This is the easiest rekey I have ever done.

Answer:	You can order interior dummy handle and install it on exterior door but it will not operate the door or lock the door so I would not do that.
Question:	Will this fit on a 2" thick door

Answer:	It is 8 13/32 inches
Question:	Is there a matching dummy handleset for a double door
Answer:	There is no locking mech on these, they are strictly a door handle. You have to have a separate deadbolt to lock the door.
Question:	Would I be able to install a storm door or would the handle be in the way? I am concerned that the handle comes out too much
Answer:	This is a complete door handle set. It contains the outside handle, and both a left and right handle for the inside of the door, depending on the opening orientation. There is no "locking" function to the latch, just when you pull the door closed to stay closed. There is no deadbolt included in this kit, so pressing down the outside lever would just open the door if there was no deadbolt installed. They are sold separately. I used the Kwikset Smart Code 888 deadbolt and it matches perfectly.

Answer:	I have a 2" thick door. I can just barely get the lock mounted, but the tail piece doesn't penetrate unto the knob as far as it's supposed to. This wasn't a huge problem until I tried to put and August smart lock on the knob side. That has a plastic adapter and because the tail piece doesn't penetrate far enough it broke and split the adapter after 2 days. Thankfully, August is sending me replacement pieces at no charge, and further Kwikset is sending me the needed parts for a "thick door". I asked about those i another question and I'm not able to answer my own question, so for others who are wondering, these at the parts needed for door thicker than 1.75". Before you start re-keying, you must have your functioning key, your new key, and the SmartKey Learn tool.

Step 1

Insert the key that currently operates your lock, and rotate it 90 degrees clockwise.

Step 2

A) Insert the SmartKey tool fully and firmly into the SmartKey hole.

B) Remove the SmartKey tool and the current key.

Step 3

A) Fully insert your new key into the lock and rotate it 180 degrees.

B) Rotate the new key 90 degrees back to the starting position, and remove it. Your lock is now re-keyed to your new key, and your old key will no longer operate the lock.
