Answer:	There is a adjustment screw on the armature plate, and you could adjust the holding force by this screws. Besides, the screw of armature plate should not be fixed too tight. Proper elasticity should be guraranteed for the rubber ring so that the armature plate can adjust itself to the appropriate position. Answer:	I don't know, but I DO NOT RECCOMEND this product, it left me stuck locked out of my garage due to a internal failure, and received NO support from the company and eventually had to cut my way into my garage

Answer:	I honestly don't know. Directions do say that it's "technical parameter" work temperature is: "0 degrees C to -70 degrees C" and work humidity is: less than or equal to 80%. It seems to be meant for an indoor door. However, it works GREAT and if it's out of direct weather, maybe.

Answer:	The fob has to be directly against the keypad or else it will not work. I do not recommend this lock. It worked less than a year before I had to get a new one last week. What a piece of garbage this lock is.

Answer:	That information was not in any of the packaging when I installed the lock. I don't remember it saying that it was rfid protected either. Nice lock though, works well.
Question:	Since you don't know the rfid frequency of the lock, what is the fcc id (printed on the product packaging). we can look it up on the internet
Answer:	The battery longevity depends on the type of battery you are using and also how often the lock is being used. For example, the longevity would vary greatly from a home where it gets used 3-5 times daily versus an office with many people coming in and out 20-30 times daily. In terms of type, we recommend staying away from rechargeable and batteries purchased from discount stores as they are not reliable and cheap quality. Hope that helps.

Question:	Has anyone tried putting on a security door
Answer:	Yes. But alarm will alert you (SimplySafe base that you need for the lock to work). I have the same door(clear glass), and, unfortunately could not find a solution either, except maybe storm door or metal safety door. I settled on a thought that it’s like one more window in the house, albeit walk in/out window).
Question:	The Nest website says it’s for “indoor use only”. Is that right? We can’t use it for the outside doors? It’s not water/weather proof

Answer:	If you have the alarm base you can use the key fob to open all the locks at 1 time but unfortunately if you are going to only use the pin pads that come with the locks you can only control 1 lock at a time.

Question:	Is this lock weatherproof as to rain
Answer:	No it is not , i have this lock and if it gets wet it glitches badly . I have to put a piece of plastic over the lock to keep it from getting wet . Hope that helps you
Question:	Can it withstand direct rain
Answer:	I have mine exposed to rain and snow. Not directly since it’s an owning there but so far is working perfectly. Even below zero temperatures. We are in Chicago.
Question:	So there is no way to lock this from the inside
Answer:	I assume you mean from outside entry. If so then yes there are two ways. Normally it will automatically lock after a couple of seconds, unless it is in “passage“ mode. There is a switch on the inside just above the handle for private or general mode. In private mode it will be locked and only an administrator can open it from the outside. There is no way to lock it such the people on the inside cannot get out.
