| Answer: | being aluminum and a casting it is hard to say.what i would do is secure it in a vice with cardboard wrapped around the arm so you do not mar the arm.see if you can tap it with a piece of wood and a hammer.a little at a time.if it snaps off go to ace hardware and buy some pc7 epoxy,it is a 2 part epoxy that mixes like clay,it will not run and is thick.grind the ends to a point and fill in with pc7.you can smooth it with a wet finger.you may need to hold it in place with tape at each end of the reel seat.it takes 24 hours to dry and can be sanded and painted,i have used this to repair a cracked block.hope this helps. |

| Answer: | Top of the line reels are made in Japan. The rest are made in Malaysia. So I’m guessing the Nasci is made in Malaysia. Still a very good reel. I’ve only used it for ice fishing. Very satisfied. Will use it open water very soon. |
