Answer:	This is just an adapter, not a converter. Not all appliances need a converter. Rule of thumb, if it heats (hair appliances) or cools, it probably needs a converter. Check the voltage range on the appliance. I understand that Israel is 220-240, so if it falls within that range or you have dual voltage, you would only need the adapter. For instance, I only needed the adapter for my phone & camera chargers. FYI, some appliances, like hair dryers may be dual voltage. There may be a switch to change voltages (mine turns like a screw). In that case, you would not need a converter, only an adapter.

Answer:	Just got back from a 15 day stay in China and uses the adapter throughout with no problems. Used on 240 volt supplies and even on 120 volt systems, encountered no problems. Even here in the states when I only had a single 120 V plug, when I wanted to connect multiple UPS cords the adapter worked without any problems. For a laptop or any other piece of equipment verify that the laptop or Kindle, iPad whatever, doesn't draw more power than the adapter is certified for. Answer:	Its two wide prongs in the back. We used this successfully in Spain and Italy. My husband laughed at me when I bought it thinking they would have American plugs in the hotels. They did not. It was pretty awesome. My American plug flat iron plugged into the front and the phone USBs were used to the sides. It's definately worth it. I plan on ordering another!
