The short answer is No. You get two single pole double throw switches, but they both work in tandem, and they both actuate at the high setting and they both actuate at the low setting. So when they actuate all you know is that your batteries have reached the high setting, or they have reached the low setting. Not what I expected, Not what you want. |

Answer: | Look at the specs. The contacts are rated at 6 amps maximum. 80 amps will destroy the contacts on the switches I can guarantee you because I have destroyed a couple of these devices with much lower amperage than 80 amps. The ONLY kind of "relay" that will handle 80 amps is a "solenoid". Ordinary relays will not handle that kind of current load. I just bought one od these to switch on and off a 120v AC power supply providing 12V DC to a solenoid which will drop the power to my inverter when the batteries are under voltage. I also am using a relay to drop the AC load at the same time to protect the solenoid. |
