Answer:	If the casters of your chair are large and rough, it might work, but generally I wouldn't recommend it because it would cause accelerated damage to the rug weave. You might try piling a smooth acrylic mat on top of the rug, for a surface to move the chair wheels across.

Answer:	The rug placed in that spot would probably age it quicker than normal. I consider the rug very durable and heavy. I have the 8 by 8 round one and I just love it.

Answer:	Since it's a natural fiber rug you can vacuum it however you should not use the strongest setting on the vacuum. I prefer to shake mine out or sweep it and only vacuum if absolutely necessary to reduce snags.

Answer:	i'm not sure what the backing is made of. it is artificial. i had put it in newly laid down hardwood floors. after a week, i could see some pressure marks transferred to the floor. i didn't want to ruin my new floors, so i ripped out the backing and turned the rug upside down. it was slightly sticky but its all good now. it is a beautiful rug. i've only had it a few months in a house that is on the ocean, so we'll see how it wears.

Answer:	I just received the NuLoom rug & haven't put it down yet, but I've had another seagrass rug from another internet vender for 5+ years in my living room over carpet (high traffic area); I have 2 large dogs....a Lab & an Aussie Shepard....and the rug has held up very well ( vacuums nicely, does not break); finally some minor "dog" breakage (nothing like the jute rug I mistakenly bought before--It lasted about 4 months & cost a lot more) , and the cotton backing & binding are shot & it does have some recent stains; I saw this one on Amazon & I read several reviews regarding the NuLoom product on another web site; btwn the reviews, the price & the fact that this rug has a rubber backing instead if cotton, I decided to go w/ this brand---and I like the binding color much better than what was offered on the other brand---the beige is closer to Khaki which is a better color for my carpet/decor. It does smell like grass (not unpleasant), but so did the 1st one, the smell dissipated in a week or so. hope this helps....mbn

Answer:	Note the confusing error on the right under the picture and above where you make your color selection, as of Sunday April 10th it clearly states 6inches x9inches, so those of us that know what the designation for feet ' and inches " still have a legitimate question of "is it 6 x 9 feet or inches?" So thank you to the individuals that answered without trying to publicly shame someone for asking a c!ear legitimate question.
Question:	How stable is this sitting on top a short-medium carpet
Answer:	It is a woven plastic, very light weight but very durable, I have it on my outdoor patio and it has been through rain, wind and lots of use and it is amazing. When it get wet, it drys in nothing flat. It is also great on bare feet, soft and comfortable. I wish I had found out about it years ago. I will buy this mat again. I love it. Hope this helps.
Question:	What kind of backing does it have
Answer:	I don't think so. It is like woven plastic and it's not soft at all. You would also need to put weights at the corners to keep it in place if a baby was crawling on it.
Question:	I would like to put under dining table with chairs wit wheels. Any comment on how it would hold up under chairs

Question:	How does it hold under a dining room table on carpet
Answer:	Yes. Depending on thickness/softness of carpet you may need to put a lightweight material under it. Bamboo covers look great and hold up well. This worked great for me when placed under soft high carpet using a 1/4" inexpensive hard surface (under the Bamboo): I am using 2 of these Bamboo runners on soft carpet under our heavy dining room table with heavy people on the chairs. What I did is buy 4 sheets of 1/4" masonite for $3 per sheet. (Masonite is a hard light pressed cardboard-something like a sheet of plywood). Whiteboard, plywood or plastic for rolling chairs in offices are other choices if needed. Try it directly over your carpet first as they might work fine out of the box depending on your carpet.
Question:	Does anyone know what chemicals are used on this rug? It says non-toxic and then I read that there is a chemical smell
Answer:	If your outdoor balcony is covered it would be okay. Otherwise I wouldn't. I put it on my kitchen floor and It's perfect.

Answer:	I've never had furniture on my rug but it is absolutely the best rug I've ever purchased. I use it between my kitchen island and the floor cabinets with stove and dishwasher in them. Fits perfect and protects my wood floor. Love, love, love it.

Question:	Does this rug have tie down strings or eyelids on the corners to secure it to the ground
Answer:	I have not done that. As a rug it is fantastic though!
Question:	Could you put this rug in a nursery
Answer:	I don't think that this will hold up on the medium carpet, possibly on the short carpet types such as you find with carpet tiles with no pad. The reason being that the pad under a medium carpet and the carpet itself would allow the bamboo to flex, and over time I would expect this to cause it to weaken and maybe splinter.
Question:	when will the 5'x8' black and white strip be available again
Answer:	It has a felt backing. Very durable; this is the second one we've had for where the dining table and chairs sit on the wooden floor. Protects the floor, takes a lot of abuse with sliding chairs, and the first one lasted for 6 years before the edges began to fray. A decent product for the price. The neutral color/pattern is unobtrusive with the rest of the decor.
Question:	Is this rug made in the USA
Answer:	We have three bamboo area rugs and I don't recommend putting chairs on top of them. We have one of our rugs under a light Asian coffee table with no problem. But i wouldn't recommend placing concentrated weight like a chair leg with someone sitting on top of it.

Answer:	I have mine on the patio, It does hold weight. one thing I noticed, in high traffic areas, the edges and the material does not hold well and rips. I am thinking of getting decorative tape for the edges.

Answer:	I had the same problem and after a few days the small went away. I also wiped my down with warm water.
