Question:	How much force is required to push down on the foot pedal? Can the positions be modified by Hand
Answer:	I use one leg and moderate pressure to place the casters in the down position. It would be no problem to reach down with my arm and engage the casters. It is a cam type of lever.

Answer:	I leave mine on the wheels most of the time. Never had an issue.

Answer:	From the bottom of the mounting bracket six and seven eighths inches of clearance, a full seven inches to be fully retractable, this allows the pedal bracket to move freely. Add another 1.5 inches from the bottom of the bracket to the floor, per the instructions. I mounted mine on the inside and the panel bracket tends to move up against the support surface with some pressure. The paddle can be hard the get back down to engage the caster.

Answer:	Not sure about their Warranty, But Amazon stands behind everything they see. As for quick release, you simply lift up on the foot lever/lock, and it releases/unlocks the assembly, and the leg sits back on the floor. Great design and very simple to use.

Question:	Am I correct in assuming that the caster assembly can be removed from the mounting plate when raised...while the load is resting on the floor
Answer:	There is no need to back out screws holding the wheel assembly to the table leg. Simply lift the lever up with your foot and the wheel comes up and let's the table leg down to rest on the floor. To raise the table like the picture shows, just push the lever down and it locks in place.
Question:	Will these work on slightly angled outward legs
Answer:	I have them on legs that are 3 to 4 degree angle and had no issues. I think it would depend on how much of an angle. I have on a grill legs and works great. you could install a spacer on the top connection area that would lower the angle.

Question:	wiil these work on a metal craftsman tablesaw stand with angled legs
Answer:	Well, you made me go out and check on my Craftsman universal stand. My stand has an angle 82.5 degrees from the floor. I checked the fit with one of the casters that I have not installed on anything yet. On my stand it will work just fine as there is room up and down for mounting. If you have 75 degrees or more of angle I would recommend making a wedge shim for mounting these. I hope this helps.
Question:	Can the kit be mounted on the inside of the legs? It will be out of the way and give max storage
Answer:	The closer you mount the lifts to the center of gravity of the table, the more unstable it becomes. The table is most stable when the lifts are mounted on the outside of the narrow dimension. IOW, a 24x60 table will benefit most from mounting the lifts on the 24" axis, giving it about 32" wide stance while on the wheels.
Question:	What size bolts will fit in the screw holes? I plan to mount the casters on metal legs
Answer:	Use size #10 (3/16 inch) to fit existing holes. I did't have these screws on hand so I drilled the holes oversize for 1/4 inch. 2 on top and 2 on the bottom.
Question:	What is the minimum amount of space needed above the bracket for the handle to swing enough for the wheel to be disengaged
Answer:	On mine, it rises about 3" above the top of the base plate when the leg is completely down. In that position, the lever is roughly at a 45 degree angle (ie, not straight up).

Answer:	I located the casters such that the leg of the table was sitting on the floor when the caster was fully contracted.

Answer:	The caster bracket gets mounted 3/4” from the bottom of the leg. When the caster is installed and placed in the upright position it is about 3/4” above the floor.

Question:	Some pictures show the lift plate as a straight plate, others show it wraps around the foot pedal. Which is currently supplied
Answer:	Guess I was half asleep on my previous answer. The plate that comes on the caster is flat in back and bends out on the sides to attach to the lift mechanism. You can order an additional plate that makes the casters detachable which does wrap around the caster plate on one side and is attached with a pin on the other side.
Question:	Are these non-marking on concrete floor
Answer:	The hard plastic does not come off and leave a black trace on the concrete floor,if that's what you're asking. I installed a few sets and one of them it's on a 500lbs workbench and still no issues
Question:	How well do they roll over debris on the floor
Answer:	That would depend on the quantity and size of the debris as well as the weight of what you want to mount atop the castors. I have two sets of these, they are very sturdy. I used these casters under a table saw housed in a base made with 2 sheets of 3/4" ply wood. I'm guessing the total weight would be in the region of 300 lbs. My floor is covered in "garage floor matting" from Costco. This is a tough rubber/plastic material with 3/32" ridges every 1/2". I can move the saw across the floor using quite a bit of force but it is not what I'd like to do on a daily basis.
Question:	When locked in the lift position, how far off the floor is the lifted item? In inched please
Answer:	Instructions show 1" between bottom of bracket and bottom of table leg, and then if you look hard enough, you find 3/4" lift in the onscreen text. Mine was different (do one and see if you get the same!): 2" distance from bracket bottom to leg bottom gives zero lift. I installed mine 1.75" and got 1/4" lift: perfect for me.

Answer:	Yes, the casters that come with the set have multiple mounting holes per bracket. There are actually six; two center holes for two screw mounting and the four outer holes for four screw mounting. If the quick-release plates are used, neither hole pattern will be required.

Answer:	There is no maximum thickness but there certainly would be a minimum thickness, depending upon how much weight you are wanting it to bear. For it to hold the maximum weight, you'll want the screws going into a hefty leg, at least 1 3/4 inches thick.
Question:	Could these be connected to the end-grain side of the table's leg
Answer:	If you're talking about the bottom of the leg, I don't think so. Attaching on the vertical leg is fine regardless of the grain. I installed them on the legs of a smoker. The legs are vertical but are slanted. Works great.

Answer:	I have an 800 pound workbench on them in garage rolls nicely on concrete and can raise lower rubber pads with orange thumb wheel pretty easily. Bench doesn’t budge when feet contact floor. Also put them on table saw.
Question:	Is a wrench included with casters for turning the orange disk
Answer:	Hi, there is no wrench included, the orange disk usually could be adjust manually.
Question:	I have very heavy wood cabinet w/casters on large triangular metal base corners. 6.5" high- need under 4". how well do these roll? base enough
Answer:	I have two sets of these. 1 set is supporting a 650 lb load on a 3' X 3' base. The second is a home built wood working table 5" X 5" built with 4X4's and 2X4's (est weight of the table and it's contents: 300lbs). I have been really pleased with their ability to roll and move on my uneven flooring

Answer:	Hi, actually there is a adjustable base pad controlled move up and down by the main bolt which could be seen inner the wheel, the orange part. The wrench is recommended to turning it. Hope it could help you.

Question:	Can you use screws instead of the supplied bolts on yhe quick release mounts
Answer:	Not exactly sure what you are referring to screws versus bolts. The bolts are to attach the dolly wheels to lift the table or bench. The flat bracket is attached to your table or bench with the provided wood screws. Allow for enough height clearance in attaching the brackets.
Question:	I see these are often purchased with the Spacecare brand step down casters. Do these mounting plates fit those well
Answer:	I don’t know if they do or not? I suppose they can be modified easily. The Workbench Casters I purchased work great. They did not come with separate mounting plates.
Question:	What are the centers of the holes vertically
Answer:	This is not a heavy duty item . I spent about $60 for a better quality item . You get what you pay for . However my bench weighs over 300 pounds ,your bench may be lighter and this may work for you . George

Answer:	don"t know for sure t about hey are made by same company they should but not knowing anything about 17000 casters i would text Powertec to find out for sure i used them with Rockler 2 3/8" urethane casters with a foot activated lift mechanism. if that is any use to you

Question:	Can these be welded to a base
Answer:	Sure. I would just tack weld at the four corners. Take it easy with the heat so you don’t melt the grease out of the bearings. Might want to shield the tires from hot sparks.
Question:	Are they tough enough to be used on rough concrete sidewalks without being damaged or ripped
Answer:	I think so. It would depend on the over all amount of travel but the have a very smooth action and ate large enough to go over most bumps and small items well
Question:	Do they mark on hardwood floors? (I just had my floors refinished and don't want makings if I need to roll my coffee table around
Answer:	I have not had them on hardwood floors, but the material used in the actual wheel is one I am familiar with from experience and I have never experienced a problem with this type of synthetic wheel material marking on any surface in my past use.
Question:	Anyone who has built a woodworking table, how have the wheels held up over time
Answer:	Mine have been sitting on a huge woodworking table for about six months now and have held up fine. They are really smooth and the brakes work very well. I'd definitely recommend.

Question:	what are the size of the wheels
Answer:	I think they are standard two inch wheels. If you want to roll them a long way not good, but i needed something for short distance and only ocatioally moved. I put them on a heavy bench, like 250- 300 lds and then anything on top and it handles it with ease. I have to lift a little as i set each rise but works good for me!
Question:	I am considering these for a woodworking workbench that I need to move around in my garage. When disengaged, do they become a tripping hazard
Answer:	They would work great on a bench. I bought for my smoker and they are not the best fit. They seem to hang up since I lift up on the smoker to go over the garage floor to driveway crack. They need constant weight on them to be effective. If you are going to lift the bench at any time they seem to not work well.
Question:	I need to fit pre-drilled holes in steel legs, what is the hole spacing on the template
Answer:	The top two drill holes from center to center are 1 3/16" apart. The holes from top to bottom, on center, are 2 15/16" apart.
