Sulfonate is related to but not the same as sulfates. In a sulfonate the sulfur is linked direct to a carbon atom where as a sulfate is linked directly to the carbon chain via an oxygen atom. They do have similar qualities when it comes to propensity of being irritating to the skin but sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate is not a sulfate.

Answer:	FAKE REVIEWS?! Most of the positive reviews are suspiciously from July/Aug of 2018 or other clumped time spots. Does everybody have thinning hair at the same time? It appears as if they hire some folks for a few weeks to write the reviews. It is sad that we have to be so hypersensitive to fake news, and that they do not believe in their product enough to let the real users speak. I don't have a lot of extra $$ but I have pride and my review cannot be bought with a free bottle of anything.

Answer:	I did not notice increase in static, but it does make the hair extremely hard to comb through. I have fine hair, but after each wash I get so many knots, that it is a real mission to comb. I use Pura D'Or conditioner as well, but it does not make any difference.

Answer:	Well I just went through and compared all the ingredients between the golden and blue version. The BIG BIG DIFFERENCE that jumped out at me is this now has Ketoconazole at 0.9% in it. I have been historically using the blue version and using Nizoral Ketoconazole shampoo twice a week (marketed for dandruff at $14 per bottle and available at target) which is typically used as the only ingredient in lots of expensive hair loss shampoos out there! So Pura D' Or has taken my advice!...and have added a very important ingredient to this mix. Answer:	Been taking it for almost a year and have been using Rogain for over a decade. In conjunction with the Rogaine, I went through 2 bottles full of this supplement, taking two pills together with a multi-vitamin and food to promote absorption...nothing. Then I split up the dosage (morning and evening), doing the same routine....nothing. About me: I'm in my 40's and have had a receding hairline + bald spot in back since my early 30's, so I'm not sure how much that contributes. I've asked my barber to look and let me know his thoughts. He said he can see some very fine, very weak strands of hair in the bald spot, but that's it. Overall my hair had been thinning out on the top of my head since my mid 30's, slowly over time. I haven't noticed any real change at all. I'd be happy if this just keeps me where I'm at, but it'll take maybe 5 years of observation to determine. I'm sure this might help some people, probably those that are younger but so far it hasn't yielded any material results for me. Answer:	You have to Remove, or Detach and lift, the pump tube Away from the bottle, wipe off the upper part of the gooey plastic pump body, grasp or gently use pliers to LOOSELY hold the tube (to stop it from spinning), and then while holding... rotate the pump nozzle counterclockwise until it releases and pops up. Then reassemble the pump onto the bottle. It could be easier, but it is what it is.

Answer:	I don't think dyed has anything to do with the performance. I find that my hair is actually growing however, I don't have dyed hair.

Green Tea Polyphenols (EGCG)

EGCG belongs to the family of catechins. It contains 3 phenol rings & has very strong antioxidant properties. It is the main active component in Green Tea leaves. EGCG inhibits 5-alpha reductase & reduces androgen action by repressing the transcription of the androgen receptor gene. It also accelerates keratinocyte differentiation & protection of hair follicles from radiation. EGCG stimulates human hair growth through its proliferative and anti-apoptotic effects on dermal papillae cells of hair follicles and may prolong anagen phase of hair growth cycle. Caffeine

Caffeine is the most commonly ingested drug in the world and a powerful antioxidant. Numerous clinical studies have shown caffeine to be effective at blocking DHT. In a study published in the International Journal of Dermatology, researchers saw in vitro growth inhibition of human hair follicles exposed to testosterone. In the same study, the deleterious effects from testosterone were counteracted by low concentrations of caffeine under the same conditions. Answer:	Didn’t work for me in fact it caused more damage. Mid foty’s, past shoulder, color treated, fine hair. It’s never been great hair but it has always had a shiny and smooth appearance. This products stripped and tangled my hair so much that I ended up with white girl dreadlock. 3/4 of bottle gone, no good results. Guess I’ll use the rest to clean bathroom floor.

Answer:	As LaLa said, the ingredients have changed. I bought a bottle about 2 years ago with the L-cysteine, green tea extract etc. And only used it a couple times. It sat for two years in the cabinet and I had forgotten about it. I Recently noticed my hair on the top back portion of my head was thinning.
