Question:	How deep are the shelves of the ladder
Answer:	They will grasp quite well with the very tip, with even as little as 1/16" of material to hold onto. So, if your broken key has a little bit of its stub standing proud of the lock, I'd say these pliers are the answer. And, on e you've solved this problem, they will have thousands of other uses. Good luck.
Question:	Can you use it to hang bath towels
Answer:	These pliers are meant for soft metal. If you try to twist and pull something hard and thick like a 2d penny nail you might damage the jaws. But if you just pull you might have a chance. I have a iPad and the diameter of the jaws closed is slightly smaller than the diameter of the headphone jack hole. If the piece is in deep I don't think you will be able to stick the jaws in and open them inside the jack hole to grab something. But if you are trying to wedge the jaws against the inner wall of the jack plug you might be able to get it out that way.. Actually it's hard to say might work since we don't know how the broken part looks like in the jack hole. Did you try using toothpicks or barbecue sticks to pry it out. Or maybe suck it out by making something you could tape to a vacuum hose. These sound silly but I'm just trying to give you ideas on figuring out a cheap and non destructive way to solve your problem.

Answer:	Hand rails must be attached with enclosed screw assembly of nuts and bolts---Simple. SAFE STEPLADDER but heavy. I attached large lockable casters to me for easy moving, but wheels lock for stable use.

Answer:	I am confused about the weight problem. We researched 4 other similar ladders that could hold less weight and they were all a few lbs heavier than this one. So for someone who wants sturdy, holds up to 300 lbs., pretty dared safe and stable you don't want a 4 lb. ladder. So for those concerned figure out what your priority is (i.e. safety, the 4th step vs. 3 steps etc.) and compare the weights. We find it perfect for our needs (my husband is 72 and I was worried about regular ladders to change the air condition filters etc.). We find it versatile and not as heavy as other ladders.
Question:	Will this work as a display when propped against the wall? With 4 kids it's likely to get bumped and I don't want frames/candles to fall and break
Answer:	The sticker on the ladder from the manufacturer states "Safely Supports 300 lbs".......My husband is just under 300 lbs and said he felt safe on the ladder...

Answer:	I would not use this to display frames or anything breakable. It is very lightweight and can get knocked over very easy. We used it to display scarves and handbags but also propped it up on some bricks so it was higher up off the ground. I do remember seeing a photo on the product page showing the ladder mounted on a wall horizontally with frames between the rungs. It was cute and not accessible by little people. If you want the ladder look leaning against a wall, Target, Ikea, Pottery Barn and a few other places have ladder "shelves" that come with brackets to attach to a wall for stability.
