Answer:	No idea why an SB&D rep would say this "is not rated in CFM", on page 7 of the manual it lists 19CFM. I tested with a fresh 60V FlexVolt battery at full charge and found it to be pulling a little over 23 CFM of air while producing 79dBa of sound at 1 meter.

Answer:	I'm not sure about the "self" cleaning part but it does have a filter cleaning mechanism that you press for 5 seconds with it turned on after each type you empty it.

Answer:	You can but I wouldn't recommend it. The canister fills very quickly. You would almost be dumping after every cut. The original bag/sock would achieve the same affect with less hassle.
