Answer:	We purchased this item mainly to keep out light. Which we are very satisfied with. But we have found that it does help with heat. It is not designed to have a seal completely around it, so if you are looking to black out a room or better insulate it then you will probably have to add to the seal which would be easy with more hook and loop attachments.
Question:	Have you replaced the Velcro tabs since all the negative reviews that say the glue fails
Answer:	We purchase new velcro tabs before even putting the sunshield up. It comes with little black squares of velcro. I purchased 2 packages of white oval velcro pieces of walmart. We place two of the sunshields on the two doors of our travel trailer and have not had a problem. I wouldn't suggest using the velcro tabs that come with the sunshield because of the reviews and they seem too small. Hope this helps.

Answer:	No damage to paint. I have used this cover on my 2018 E-450 4 times so far and works great. The magnets are inside the vinyl. As long as you 'place' the cover & not 'throw" it across the windshield you will be fine!

Answer:	I just got the 14 x 14 cushion for the vent, but tried it for the skylight in the shower and used the shower's blackout shade to close the gap. In less than 2 minutes the top of the cushion was HOT and I could feel significant heat coming through the blackout shade. The cushion made an instant difference. Tomorrow I'm going to hunt down foam like Shiela did to close off the skylight. It's 103 outside right now at 5:30 pm and will be 107 in a few days.

Answer:	We used industrial strength Velcro. Lined the edges and bottom of each window just outside the window frame and cut the insulation to match. The industrial strength Velcro adhesive has continued to hold up even with 100+ degree days. This way we can remove it when we want. And it doesn’t look bad - nice and tidy over the windows.

Answer:	Not sure any would be needed, but double-stick tape should work

Answer:	I can't see any reason it would be dangerous for kids or pets unless they chew it up. There is no odor or substance on the surface to get on kids hands. I would use it.

Answer:	Probably not. It's good for blocking sun, but since it's not sealed around the edges (other than whatever velcro you put on it to hold it up), it's not likely to be much help against the cold. It's a very thin insulation.

Answer:	I think the fact that it has some insulation (like a padded mailer) would help trap heat. And it would work for sure if you added a heat source like Maryanne suggested. I feel sure that the Reflectix would keep the air warmer than foam. I've tried using a thick foam padding to insulate a dog house. The cold wind blew through small cracks in the dog house and eventually seeped through the foam because there was no barrier. The Reflectix is a padded barrier.
Question:	Would this make a good heat reflecting layer for under your sleeping bag, in your tent
Answer:	Yes. YouTube camping/survival guru ReallyBigMonkey1 demonstrates how tough Reflectix is and uses it to layer with a welding blanket to make a really stout survival blanket/tarp. Plenty of Bushcraft/Hiking people use Reflectix mats under their sleeping bags or pads.

Answer:	It will be as temporary as whatever you use to affix it to the window is. There is no adhesive on this product. This is like the stuff used to make sun visors for car windshields. Think bubble wrap with silver covering. It is very sturdy and you should be able to reuse it many times.

Answer:	Absolutely. A razor blade or moderately sharp scissors will easily cut it. I cut it into 20x46" panels to insulate the inside of my metal garage door. Question:	How thick is the product? Wondering if I could do top and bottom windows separately and still open the window when needed
Answer:	There's a previous similar question about thickness you might check. My purchase is approximately 1/4" thick so if you have a 1/4" space between the pane and the frame, then you will be able to open the windows separately without difficulty. Anything less, then no.
Question:	Do you get 2 rolls as per the picture
Answer:	No you only get 1 roll… The pictures are just to show the profile of the material
Question:	Will this block cold
Answer:	Its does a great job of stopping the flow of air whether its hot or cold.
Question:	What is the R value
Answer:	So Johnson Fan is technically correct in the R value answer, but there's some confusion due to the nature of the product. Heat transfers in 3 ways; conduction, convection and radiation. The nature of a reflective material like foil cuts down on (let's just call it 99%) 99% of radiation heat transfer. By sealing potential air leaks with the product, losing cold/hot air is cut down as well, depending on how well you apply it. (You could seal air leaks with any type of plastic, really.) The restriction of air movement cuts down on convection heat transfer. That leaves conduction, which this product probably resists at a value of R1 or so. Fantastic for radiating heat and sealing air gaps, but if you strip the foil off not so good at insulating as other materials. (Two out of three ain't bad!)
