The Travelon site describes this case as "meets carry-on size restrictions for most domestic airlines." Based on that, I would say yes, it does. This bag is under the approved airline linear max. I have had no issue with any airlines. Don't forget weight max is usually 50lbs, but some airlines allow up to 70. If you go over weight they will charge extra.

Answer:	There are hooks at both ends of the inside bag. Have too be careful with this bag way easy to go over 50 pound limit. I would estimate about 3 suits at each end but probably over weight limit!

Answer:	No way to hang this bag. As nice and well constructed is this garment bag, the lack of a hanging hook is really a short-coming, and I called the company about my concerns. I think a hook is not provided because there is a hanger locking mechanism at both ends of the inside of the garment bag, so that you can lay clothing in both directions. If there was a hook, some clothes would be hanging upside-down.

Answer:	No this bag has no shoulder strap and I have to say it was tough traveling without one. I could connect it to my luggage. However It is a big bag with lots of space, I'm able to use it as a carry-on and stuff it full! The zipper handle on two of the inside pockets came right off but the outside zipper is very sturdy as well as the bag.

Answer:	You are correct, the website dimensions are not totally accurate. The actual measurements as best I can measure are 15" H x 14 1/2 " W x 9" D (at the bottom) and 7" W (at the top). These measurements are with the bag totally empty. When you pack it, the dimensions grow. I recently took a flight on Allegiant Airlines and the bag fit under the seat but needed to be inserted "top" first as the wheels did not go under the seat which meant the bag stuck out just a little. It wasn't that far but certainly left little foot room. Bear in mind though that Allegiant Airlines if a no frills airline and the personal space is limited to begin with.

Question:	Does this have a laptop compartment? water bottle holder? looking for something to drag around europe. thanks
Answer:	No, and no, unfortunately. We bought this bag and another osprey pack (Meridian 60 L/22" Wheeled Luggage, Metal Grey) for European travel to replace carry on suitcases and they are the best packs we've ever owned. Really well made and lightweight/durable/easy to carry. You might consider The Meridian because it has a clip-in backpack with a laptop sleeve and water bottle holders. When clipped in to the larger pack, it does take away space from both bags but I think they are exceptional packs nonetheless. Because these bags are hard to find in stores and we also had lots of questions, we actually ordered like 8 of them and then returned once we decided which we liked. Good luck!
Question:	Can any or some of the Osprey day backs or backpacks be attached to your front while carrying the Sojourn on your back
Answer:	I have a Osprey daypack and was able to attach it to the front of the Sojourn without difficulty. It worked great!
Question:	Have you had trouble using it as carry on
Answer:	No, not at all. I was a little worried and have airlined about 10 times this month. Sometimes it's stuffed and I just use the the compression straps to cinch it down tight. It's an amazing bag and wish I had bought it sooner. I am pilot and have had all the bags you could think of and even the the larger Ospreys and this is all you will need. I took out the backpack straps and can hold a a 15 MacBook and an iPad and some file folders, plus all the gear for week at work. 3 suites, jeans, 3 shoes and lots of tees and work out stuff. Lots of room to spare. Can even fit on E190 aircraft if not totally crammed full. Love it!
Question:	What's the difference between the Meridian and Sojourn
Answer:	The Meridian main bag has capacity of about 40L I think. And the daypack is another 20L for a total of 60L. But when fully packed it can be tough to zip on the day pack. The Sojourn is 45L for just the one bag. So unless you really need to zip the daypack on, I found the Sojourn and a daypack with a pass through sleeve to be more efficient. I also want to see if the Daylight daypack can latch on the the Sojourn. The Sojourn also has a different harness system. I don't think the new Meridian’s have the hip belts any longer.
