Answer:	Based on Samsung's website - YES, this will work with SmartThings! I have had one of these thermostats for a few years now and have been content with using it just through wifi - I plan to play around with this now that I know it is compatible!! Answer:	It will reconnect automatically once your power comes back on as long as the modem/router also comes back on and reconnects to the internet.

Answer:	I called Honeywell and was told the "C" wire is blue and in fact mine is blue. I have no black wire. I have 5 wires yellow, white, blue, green and red. I was told I could check for AC voltage by connecting my meter to the red and blue wires. The Honeywell tech was very helpful. 800 468-1502.

Answer:	There is no functional difference between the two. This TH9320WF5003 is white and the RTH9580WF1005 is silver. The RTH9580WF1005 is the retail model with a 1 year warranty and this one is intended to be a contractor only model with a 5 year warranty. Honeywell's former policy was that the TH9320WF5003 warranty wouldn't be honored if not installed by a contractor. However, they have since changed this. You now get 1 year with this too if you install it yourself.

Answer:	Hi there, this unit REQUIRES an internet connection, based on a WiFi (wireless) connection. Once the device establishes an internet connection to the Honeywell cloud (which is cool!) you can effectively control the thermoostat from anywhere you have an internet connection.... even your smartphone. Answer:	The WiFi setup requires you to create an account on mytotalconnectcomfort.com. It’s not that hard. The biggest problem with this thermostat is the unreliable remote connectivity ever since Honeywell spun off their thermostat division 6 months ago. Now it’s frequent periods of time where the thermostat will not respond to remote commands. It’s maddening
Question:	What if i have a C wire
Answer:	When you put it on circulate, the fan comes on for about 10 minutes every 20 minutes or so. The owners manual says it runs about 35% of the time. I used this feature this Fall with the system off (no heat or a/c) just to circulate the air through my Filtrete filters.

Answer:	No need to have a Honeywell gateway for the Honeywell rth6580wf. You only need a wireless Internet modem dsl/broadband service phone line.

All program and installer set up functions are saved on to a chip and retained in case of a power outage. It does utilize a super capacitor for short term retention of the clock. If there is a lengthy power outage and if the RTH6580WF is connected to the internet, when power is restored it will automatically resynchronize with the internet time.

Answer:	If you have no Internet, this thermostat will simply operate as a non-WiFi enabled programmable thermostat (e.g., follow the schedule that you previously created) OR you use the buttons on it to adjust it manually. The only thing you lose with not having the Internet is the ability to use your phone to interact with it (e.g., change the settings and/or update the schedule). Just pretend like it is 1970 and adjust the thermostat like your parents did.

Answer:	I did the following in a two-wire heat-only setup and it worked: 1) On the back panel of the new thermostat, remove the small jumper between the RC and R connectors. 2) Connect the outputs of a 24V AC transformer (I happened to use https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DJ7RHS5?ref=ppx_pt2_dt_b_prod_image) to the RC and C connectors on the new thermostat back panel. It does not matter which of these two wires goes to RC and which goes to C. 3) Connect the wire that had gone to either RC or R on the old thermostat to the R connector on the new thermostat back panel. Connect the wire that had gone to W on the old thermostat to the W connector on the new thermostat back panel. 4) Plug in the transformer to a nearby 120 V outlet. Snap the body of the new thermostat onto its back panel. Continue with the instructions provided with the new thermostat.

Answer:	Yes you could. I don't have that much freezer space (I live in my RV), but if you do, that would work. The ice packs do fit in the side pockets. Actually where the ice packets/insulin go is a separate tri-fold piece that fits down in the case, so you could just pull that part out and stick it in the freezer. It would take even less space.

Answer:	I would say that would depend on the size of the meter, but I don't think I would put the meter with the ice.
Question:	Will this ever get Alexa integration? I want the Mysa but it doesn’t support single pole systems
Answer:	Hi, when temperature above 24 degree or below 4 celsius degree, it will not display. If you mean 3 numbers light up, please refer to the blue color numbers. It will be the correct one. In the meanwhile, our 2nd generation is coming, they support both Fahrenheit degree and Celsius degree. If you hold 2nd generation product, the numbers with back color close to green will be the correct.

Question:	How to wire up voice thermostat with only 2 wires ,r and w
Answer:	In most cases, Nest thermostats can get enough power from your system’s heating and cooling wires. But in a small number of situations you may need to connect a common or C wire to deliver enough consistent power to your thermostat when your heating and cooling wires are not able to deliver the needed power for your Nest thermostat. Battery drain issues normally happen when the power from your heating and cooling system goes out. The 2 AAA alkaline batteries are used as a backup, or to supplement if your system can’t deliver enough power.
Question:	I don't have a 'C' wire... how difficult is to adapt the Ecobee using the included cable and how is it done
Answer:	No

Answer:	No, they are not compatible for use with any other smart home hubs. You must pair with the Cree Lighting app and then you can control via the app, or with your Amazon Alexa or Google home app or voice assistant if linked with them as well.

Question:	I am buying a nest e. do i really need to buy this sensor
Answer:	You don't need this sensor to operate a nest thermostat. The best has a temperature sensor built in. It will take the room temperature where the nest is installed and regulates the AC based on that room. Some folks have the need to control an additional space during certain times of the day. Most common would be a bedroom during night time. With the extra sensor you can set up the AC to bring the temperature of the bedroom to a certain temperature regardless what the temperature is in the room the nest thermostat is in. So it's a comfort feature. You can try the next by itself and if you find that you want to change temperature control to your bedroom you can add it later.
Question:	Hi my home has 5 zones do i need just one nest? or do i need one in each zone? would the sensors be good enough
Answer:	If you are going to replace your thermostat with Nest thermostat, a one for one replacement for each thermostat. Now, if you have just one thermostat and five zones, then it implies that you are monitoring temperature and providing feedback to the thermostat for each zone. To put it simple one nest thermostat, plus sensors will give you the hability to keep one selected room at a temeprature desired. Just select the sensor you want to set as controlling. For more than one thermostat you will need the above set up multiple times. The Nest application is one the most user friendly apps I have ever used.

Answer:	If you already have old Thermostat then it is easy replace and install by yourself. I did by myself and that is pretty easy . You can find YouTube video on this install... Before unhooking the wires from your old one take a snap shot to see what wires goes in to what and you can use that as a reference when installing this
Question:	I brought this product but need another socket, which one should I buy it
Answer:	You should be able to have multiple wifi thermostats and control them thru your portable device individually. I only have one so I'm not 100% sure but you have to register your thermostat online with the personal id on your thermostat so you can control it thru your smart phone computer or tablet. Then it asks you to name it ex.Downstairs Tstat or upstairs tstat. If you register more than one you should be able to see it by whatever name you gave it and control them individually.
